After years of service to the Army of Club Penguin, Roxy has officially retired from the army. Let us look back at her journey in ACP and the legacy she leaves behind as the army moves into a new chapter.

ARMY BEGINNINGS

Roxy first entered the army community on November 8, 2019, when she joined Help Force. She became active in early 2020 and spent nearly a year with the Helpers. During her time there, she became involved with them and made many friends. However, balancing real life with army commitments became difficult, leading her to leave Help Force. She later joined the Army of Club Penguin on October 10, 2020, after Sanya encouraged her to make the switch. Interestingly, her first ACP event was against her former army, Help Force. She started as a Warrant Officer and quickly worked her way up to Moderator within three weeks. She also joined the recruiting team, where she worked alongside other members and gained more experience.

Roxy eventually became part of ACP’s High Command in October 2021, serving as an AUSIA leader. However, she announced her retirement on January 29, 2022, after deciding to focus more on real life. After nearly two years away, she began taking an interest in ACP again around December 2023. She returned to the army in January 2024 under the leadership of Coolguy and AustinFraud. Starting on the Staff Team, she quickly climbed through the ranks and became an AUSIA Commander while still holding the 4ic position. She later joined the High Command again, eventually receiving an offer to join ACP’s leadership. Although she initially rejected the offer, she changed her mind and officially became ACP’s 52nd Commander-in-Chief on June 22, 2024.

THE Legacy of the short queen

Roxy’s leadership became a major turning point in ACP’s modern history as she helped rebuild the US division alongside Daniel and Kailey, turning it into one of ACP’s strongest divisions. She also reopened ACPTR, breaking the army’s record for its highest number of graduates. ACP first suffered a major war defeat against Water Vikings, followed by a semifinal loss to Templars. Elite Guardians of Club Penguin then declared war, dragging ACP into the 100-battle Centenary Solstice War. The Clovers eventually turned the tables and secured a memorable victory, finishing with a 64-1-39 score. In 2025, ACP endured more setbacks against Aliens and in several tournaments, but also secured victories against the Doritos, Templars, and Bastille Vanguard. The army continued its winning run in 2026, defeating Scarlet Republic and Aliens before beating the Templars again.

In September 2024, Roxy and Ugly received ACP’s Silver Medal for their leadership during the 104-battle Centenary Solstice War against EGCP. Ugly attended every battle, while Roxy focused on recruitment, mentoring, and expanding regional divisions. Under Roxy, ACP won Project Conquest: Blood Bowl, the Summer Olympics, and Ragnarok Olympics, followed by March Madness XI, Legends Cup XVI, and October Horrors II in 2026. Roxy also surpassed Oagalthorp as ACP’s longest-serving leader, serving two years, four months, and five days. ACP held the Top Ten’s number-one position for most of 2026, reaching attendance peaks of 129 at March Madness, 142 at Legends Cup, and a record 217 at its anniversary event.

THE RETIREMENT

After more than two years at the helm, Roxy officially announced her retirement on November 1, 2026. Her departure marked the end of a major chapter in ACP’s history, closing a leadership journey lasting 2 years, 4 months, and 5 days. From rebuilding the army after difficult defeats to leading it towards major victories, she experienced countless highs and lows alongside her troops. In her retirement post, she reflected on these moments and thanked Daniel, the High Command, staff, and troops who supported her. She also expressed confidence in ACP’s future and its next generation of leaders.

Her retirement carried even greater significance as she broke a leadership record once considered impossible to surpass. Just four months earlier, ACP had celebrated her second leadership anniversary, with members recognising her dedication and influence. Many credited her with building a welcoming, multicultural community where troops could find friendship and support in a Thank You post. As ACP’s 52nd Commander-in-Chief, she leaves behind a legacy that will remain part of the Clovers’ history.

Club Penguin Armies interviewed Roxy about her time as leader in ACP to learn more.

Do you believe you accomplished all of your goals before retiring?

My main goal in ACP was to ensure its continued success throughout the years, and from the looks of it, I am confident that the future generations will keep that momentum going. I am completely content with my journey in ACP and definitely achieved everything I set out to do.

Can you give us some advice for those who hope to become a leader one day?

The best advice I can give is to figure out the exact role you want to play in your army, stick to your core values, and work hard towards it. If you truly wish for your army to become its best version, the effort you put into it will reflect in the results and inspire those around you.

What was the most challenging situation you faced during your leadership, and how did you manage to overcome it?

The most challenging part was definitely keeping everyone else motivated while trying to stay motivated myself. I truly believe a loss is necessary to learn from mistakes and come back stronger, but not everyone sees it that way in the moment- so lifting morale while planning for the future is tough. I am extremely grateful to all the troops and staff for trusting our HCOM’s planning and helping us push through to become our best version.

What is your most memorable moment in ACP?

Having been part of this army for so long, every moment is memorable because of the people I got to share the journey with. But if I had to pick, the most memorable moments were definitely turning things around after a chain of losses- winning the EGCP war and taking home the March Madness tournament trophy this year are huge highlights for me!

Any comments for the community?

Go with the flow! Aaand who knows? Maybe I’ll see yall at CC when I inevitably unretire for it. (Just kidding, I’m actually retiring for sure this time- thank you for everything!).

Clearly, Roxy’s commitment is undoubtedly one of the best seen within the community. It does raise some questions for ACP. How will the absence of Roxy affect the army in the future? Will ACP be capable of running successfully as they have without her?
