With the 2026 CPA Summer Gala ending, we now have the first, second, and third place winners for each award. Read the post to see how many votes everyone received and the notes we have made!

The Gala was on August 30, with many people watching in community chat, being in the voice chat, or both. We all logged onto Club Penguin Journey, but the awards were announced in the #community and #community-chat channels of our Discord server. The Nomination Form was introduced on August 22, and it closed three days later. The Finalist Form was sent the day after the Nomination Form closed, and that form closed on the day of the gala, three hours before it commenced. And now, here are all the awards that were announced at the gala.

The three HCOM members securing the podium are respected people in their respective armies. Elnova has been a key member inside ACP staff, hence taking the most votes here. Congratulations, Elnova!

most achieved

First Place: Daniel20448 (61 votes)
Second Place: Roxy (42 votes)
Third Place: Escot (31 votes)
The community awarded the ‘most achieved’ award to Daniel20448 for co-leading the Army of Club Penguin to their first-ever March Madness victory and strategically guiding the army during the War of Clover Aggression against the Templars.

BIGGEST RISE

First Place: Army of Club Penguin (106 votes)
Second Place: Water Vikings (30 votes)
Third Place: Shadow Legionnaries (18 votes)
The Army of Club Penguin has seen a significant rise this year, achieving maxes of over 100, topping the Top Ten for a multitude of weeks, and going undefeated in tournaments this year, including March Madness XI, Around the World Cup III, and most recently, Legends Cup XVI. To say that they have grown into one of the top armies of the year would be an understatement. Congratulations ACP!

Third Place: Bestpenguin (25 votes)
The community awarded the best retirement award to Lydia for leading the Water Vikings throughout great moments, ending with a 3rd spot in Legends Cup XVI right before retirement.
– df44
BIGGEST conflict

First Place: Army of Club Penguin vs Templars (77 votes)
Second Place: Water Vikings vs Templars (50 votes)
Third Place: Army of Club Penguin, Water Vikings VS Aliens, Scarlet Republic (48 votes)
The conflict between the Army of Club Penguin and the Templars was the first of its kind, being conducted via a series of raids in the CPPS, Club Penguin Journey. A competitive war that changed how warfare was seen on CPJ; this war was certainly one for the history books.
– Kira
BIGGEST tournament

First Place: Legends Cup XVI (89 votes)
Second Place: March Madness XI (58 votes)
Third Place: Around the World Cup III (24 votes)
Legends Cup XVI was a very competitive tournament, with armies maxing more than they have in YEARS, like ACP maxing in the 120s, RPF maxing in the low 100s, the Water Vikings competing very well in the semi-finals, and many other feats.

DEPARTMENT awards
Best writer

Winner: Ninja Leader
Ninja Leader has been a committed reporter since he rejoined this summer. Statistically, he has shown excellence relatively greater than that of other reporters. Through his quality posts, he has described his beautiful writing skills. Often, he manages to hit a perfect score on his posts, which built confidence in our decision to select him as the Best Writer this season. He has vested his language powers and written well-structured articles that meet the formatting standard properly. In addition, his work attitude makes his time in the Reporting Team more valuable. I am proud to present Ninja Leader as the Best Writer for Summer 2026, and I recognize that he has set a good example for other reporters in the Department.
– Fun X Time
post of the summer

Winner: Philosophy: Why Do We Hate in a Game of Friendship? – Wrote by MtJordan II
In this post, MtJordan II has philosophically placed emphasis on how hate propagates in a game where there is friendship. He highlights how “Club Penguin Armies is meant to be an enjoyable place,” but contrasts this fact by suggesting that “rivalry and strife have been the lifeblood of this community.” Through this well-articulated opinion piece, readers realized different aspects of rivalry and ego with an open mind. Backed by relevant visuals, he breaks down the logic and reasoning of morality in armies. Undoubtedly, this post is one which blurs real-life philosophy with Club Penguin Armies without deviating from the central theme.
– Fun X Time
funniest post

Winner: Satire: Sled Racing Accident Leaves Jojo Teri Dead – Written by Pingo
Winner: Philosophy: Why Do We Hate in a Game of Friendship? – Wrote by MtJordan II
A lovely story-telling living directly in the army world. This sled racing tale is a culmination of different satirical concepts the community has enjoyed in the past. With each paragraph, the humor in the article remains stable. I wonder if this satire is Jojo Teri’s all-time personal favorite.
– Fun X Time
best graphic designer

Winner: Thalia
Since the longest time in CPA, the server has been growing in graphic’s quality for our blog. However, it lacked in terms of animation that made it a rarity. Since Thalia has joined our team, she has been able to deliver quality work that brought hype back into our community, especially during tournaments! She also has taken to spread her magic towards individual armies, fulfilling requests to enhance servers and websites that can generate a lot of hype and pride. Therefore, she has more than proved herself to becoming the Best Graphic Designer of the year!
– Master DS
best moderator

Winner: Zooy
Zooy is level headed, calm and kind but unafraid to take action when needed. Can’t ask for much more in a moderator!
– Vivala
best TOP TEN COMMITTEE MEMBER

Winner: Pingo
For best TT member, Ella and I chose Pingo. Throughout his time in the TTC, he’s done his work to the best of his ability, and he submits it on time. He has proven consistent numerous times.
– Moon and Ella
best COMMUNITY COMMITTEE MEMBER

Winner: Mz
During my time as a CC Head, Mz has been an awesome help to the department. This probably is not a surprise to people as I have voted him like twice for MMOTM, but he truly deserves it. He always gives ideas and is always willing to help out our members. I believe that everyone in CC respects him due to this. Congratulations, Mz, and keep it up.
– Tulip
best YOUTUBER

Winner: Ayeeti
Without him, there wouldn’t be any battles from this summer.
– Rye
best judge

Winner: Stefan
Stefan, he has been consistent with judging, whether it be regular practice battles or tournaments, he’s always there. Throughout his time here in CPAJ, he has offered very useful insights that have helped during challenging situations like ties.
– Moon
best CPAB MODERATOR

Winner: Joonie
Being one of the newest and later becoming the best is no easy feat to achieve. With our goal of “Making CPAB Great Again,” because at one point in our past, activations took so long and decisions at times took so long to accomplish, we were looking for a fresh new team that could speed everything up, and that is where Joonie came in. Being hired only 3 months ago, he has accomplished so much, which is incredibly impressive considering he’s from the AUSIA region. Activating 1000+ accounts in such a short time, being active in what he does, and always trying his best have convinced us that there is no candidate more deserving than Joonie.
Congratulations to Joonie for being awarded this award, as you truly envision what it means to Make CPAB Great Again because with him, he has helped us reach that goal, and we wouldn’t have been great without our best CPAB moderator.
– Sanya and Coolguy
COMMUNITY awards
MOST CONTROVERSIAL moment

First Place: Army of Club Penguin’s exposé on Templars (47 votes)
Second Place: Aliens surrendering in the war against the Army of Club Penguin (43 votes)
Third Place: Yellow Typer Multilogging (27 votes)
The community awarded the most controversial moment award to the Army of Club Penguin’s exposé on the Templars, a post that included multiple claims that TCP multilogged on CPJ in several events, inflating their sizes and top ten placements. As a result of this exposé, there’s an ongoing CPA investigation to confirm or dismiss the claims.
– df44
community Sweetheart

First Place: Queen Kay (87 votes)
Second Place: Elsa (20 votes)
Third Place: Ams & Thalia (19 votes)
I don’t really know Queen Kay, but from backsearching, she seems really sweet, so congratulations!!!!
– Tulip
brightest bulb

First Place: Pingo (28 votes)
Second Place: Yellow Typer (22 votes)
Third Place: Elsa (14 votes)
The advertising worked!!!!!! Congratulations, Pingo!
– Tulip
most likely to fumble an important battle

First Place: Daniel20448 (50 votes)
Second Place: Stefan (39 votes)
Third Place: Yellow Typer (16 votes)
This is honestly kind of funny because I think mostly ACP people voted for Daniel, and if ACP has won so much this year, is he really fumbling? (This is funny, haha, by the way.)
– Tulip
We are not sure if this is consistent with the latest achievements from ACP. However, the community seemed more interested in awarding Daniel an alternative “Most Likely to Fumble a Discord Account” award following a recent hack.
-df44
most likely to CAUSE CHAOS IN MAIN CHAT

First Place: Cobra (33 votes)
Second Place: Elsa (32 votes)
Third Place: Ugly (17 votes)
Can a mod tell me if Cobra has been warned/muted or something? I’m too inactive in the CPA chat. /j
– Tulip
most likely to MAKE EVERYONE LAUGH

First Place: Queen Kay (55 votes)
Second Place: Chkn (24 votes)
Third Place: Cobra (17 votes)
All three of you need to ping me with a joke whenever you see this. I love jokes. Make me laugh. If not, I will be displeased. But for real, congratulations!
– Tulip
most likely to multilog

First Place: Yellow Typer (54 votes)
Second Place: Xing (40 votes)
Third Place: Borapenguins (38 votes)
Funny timing because the multilogging post came out while we were figuring out the Finalist Form, and yeah…..
– Tulip
most likely to army hop

First Place: Yols (40 votes)
Second Place: Elite888 (28 votes)
Third Place: Ninja Leader (17 votes)
Well deserved because I think Yols has been in at least three armies.. Maybe more.. I don’t know, not really involved in a ton of army things.
– Tulip
the army most likely to troopsteal

First Place: Templars (79 votes)
Second Place: Army of Club Penguin (31 votes)
Third Place: Masked Bandits (25 votes)
I don’t exactly know what to say on this, but I’m not surprised about the Templars getting so many votes.
– Tulip
Winning this award is not per se the assumption that an army troopstealed. With the ongoing tension between ACP and TCP, it’s not a surprise that both got so many votes.
-df44
Most Likely to Complain About Everything

First Place: Elsa (40 votes)
Second Place: Aurora (31 votes)
Third Place: Daniel20448 (27 votes)
The CPA Administration will refrain from making an official description about this award. The community voted! Congratulations, Elsa!
– df44
Acts Innocent but is absolutely plotting

First Place: Elsa (27 votes)
Second Place: Pingo (25 votes)
Third Place: Ams (19 votes)
Is Elsa actually secretly plotting something??? We’ll see in the future I guess….
– Tulip
most shamless self-promoter

First Place: Mr. West (45 votes)
Second Place: Elsa (23 votes)
Third Place: Elite888 (19 votes)

This proves it all.
– Tulip
leaves dramatically but always comes back

First Place: All staff members (97 votes)
Second Place: Aurora (12 votes)
Third Place: Thunder222 (10 votes)
I honestly put the “All staff members” option in for fun even though no one voted for it in the nomination. But they’re not wrong, some of us staff members DO leave and come back most of the time, even if it is not dramatic.
– Tulip
To be honest, everyone in armies leaves, claiming they will never return and then come back two months later to lead a new army. So this was not an unexpected winner.
– JojoTeri
Everything they touch turns into mayhem

First Place: Bschar (23 votes)
Second Place: Dino (21 votes)
Third Place: Xing (20 votes)
Well…. This is probably why Bschar is banned.. ha.
– Tulip
We would like to thank Pingo, one of our Graphic Designers for the trophies! As a CC Head, I would personally like to thank the CC members who helped out with giving awards, in which those people were: Annie, Joonie, Mz, Samio, and df44 as well for pinging the people who received the award. I would also like to thank Haleth for making an invitation form to invite all the armies to the gala.
We would like to thank everyone once more for voting on both of these forms, and for attending the gala. This summer has been great, and we hope you all enjoyed this gala. Stay tuned for our future galas!!!
