Welcome to another edition of Leaving A Legacy, a column dedicated to highlighting the legendary people who have made it into an army’s Hall of Fame. In today’s edition, we will be talking about Robot’s journey in the community.

Robot first started his journey in the Rebel Penguin Federation in 2013. During his time in RPF, he was part of the army in its ‘Championship Era’, when RPF went on to win the Legends Cup and dominate the server. He also went on to lead the Rebels during their ‘Chaos Era’. This period saw countless conflicts with alliances and individual armies alike. Moreover, Robot had a stint as a leader in the older army Night Rebels. During this time, he led the army to as high as third place on the weekly Top Ten.
Fast forward to the CPPS Club Penguin army community; Robot joined the Army of Club Penguin as fourth-in-command in April 2020. He became an important part of the army, contributing to its victories in conflicts and tournaments. As a former leader of the RPF, Robot brought plenty of experience to ACP. Additionally, what was notable about Robot was his dedication, work ethic, and all-around easy-going personality. Fellow Higher Command and staff members described him as “one of the most incredible people” to work with. His contributions to recruiting, growing the army, and assisting the ACP Secret Intelligence Service during wars eventually earned him induction into the ACP Hall of Fame. He was additionally awarded the army’s prestigious Bronze Medal Award later on.
Former ACP leader CSY announces Robot’s return in April 2021
After nine months in Higher Command, Robot announced his retirement from ACP on January 24, 2021, following the conclusion of the Alpha vs. Echo Civil War. His retirement, however, would be short-lived. Just over a week later, Robot returned to ACP as an advisor, hoping to continue supporting the army behind the scenes through advice on foreign relations, among other things. By April 2021, Robot had returned to the rank of Field Marshal. This came after ACP’s successful History Week and consecutive #1 finishes on the Top Ten.

Over three years later, Robot once again returned to the Army of Club Penguin on October 5 2024. The reunion marked a new era for Robot, serving as a full-circle return and bringing one of the army’s most celebrated veterans back into its ranks. He later retired for a final time in early 2025.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Robot for an interview about his journey and memories.
What is your most memorable moment in ACP?
My most memorable moment in ACP was probably the beginning of the Third Clover Crusade against the Templars. We planned everything together as an HCOM team, and I remember CSY coming up with the idea to remix “Do You Hear the People Sing?” for the war. I thought it was absolutely iconic and genius. Then we went into that first battle and maxed 60, while the Templars cowered away as usual. The combination of the hype, the creativity and seeing everyone come together to deliver such a massive turnout is something I’ll never forget.
Would you have changed yourself in any way for ACP?
I think I would have had a little more patience and enjoyed the journey even more. I was always eager to get to where I wanted to be, but eventually I realized that where I was, was actually where I wanted to be. I found that my strong suit was being part of a strong team and contributing to it, rather than necessarily leading one. I’m very happy with what I accomplished in ACP, but if I could change one thing, it would probably be to have appreciated the journey a little more along the way.
What first drew you to Club Penguin armies, and how did you end up joining RPF specifically?
I was first introduced to the community through ACP in 2011, I don’t remember clearly how but it was probably ingame but I didn’t really stick around much. I bounced in and out of armies for a few years, including a brief stint in RPF in 2013. In 2015, I decided to actually get involved, and after floating around different armies, Silverburg recognized my potential and brought me into RPF as a Moderator at a time when the army was rebuilding after years of decline.
That was really the turning point for me. I started taking the game seriously and ended up dedicating the next few years to RPF, on and off, from 2015 to 2020. I even briefly led RPF in 2015, which was a huge responsibility for me at such a young age. Looking back, it was a formative experience that taught me a lot about leadership and the community.
Being inducted into both the RPF and ACP Hall of Fame is rare. What does that dual honor mean to you?
It’s a great honor. To my knowledge, only a select few people have been recognized in both of arguably the two greatest armies in history, and I’m incredibly honored to have been a part of both. ACP is the army I spent more time consciously dedicated to, but RPF will always have a special place in my heart. It’s where I really grew into the community, and I’m always happy to see them succeed and continue doing well.
It’s also been really fun over the last few years to watch these two armies butt heads in finals on so many occasions. The most recent battle in the Legends Cup final was absolutely the most epic of them all, and I’m honored to have witnessed two superpowers show off at the absolute height of their powers. Being recognized by both is a really special way to look back on the journey I had in the community.
What is something you would like to say to people who wish to be like you?
I think everyone should seek to leave their own mark rather than trying to be someone else. If I were to give advice, I’d say always stay loyal to your army and your people, show up for them, and always strive for the betterment of the community you’re a part of. Take initiative and take the opportunities that come your way, but don’t get too caught up in titles or positions. In a community and team-based game like this, there’s no place for selfishness.
Most importantly, enjoy it. The whole point of the game is to have fun, so never take things too seriously. Build genuine relationships and remember that the game should never come between those relationships. I’ve been on opposite sides of wars with some of my closest friends, and we’ve always been able to separate the game from our friendships.
I’m still in contact with and close friends with people I met years ago through this game, and honestly, I remember the people I met and the moments I shared with them far more than I remember the game itself. At the end of the day, that’s what makes the whole experience worthwhile.
Robot’s journey through the Club Penguin Army community has spanned more than a decade, leaving a lasting impact on both the Rebel Penguin Federation and the Army of Club Penguin. From his early days in RPF to his time in ACP’s Higher Command and beyond, his dedication, leadership, and commitment to those around him have cemented his place among the community’s most notable veterans.
