With the CPA Summer Olympics starting, the four teams have been working hard to earn points for their team. This post shows what has happened in the first two weeks of the Summer Olympics. From now on, scoring will be released in these recap posts.

WEEK 1
The Summer Olympics started on July 18, with the Opening Ceremony being hosted the next day. Sadly, though, the ceremony was canceled. Many quests, including permanent, team-based quests where you had to work together, and quests that had a date to complete by, were introduced.
This is the first year that we introduced color teams. The applications for team leaders were posted on July 26. Currently, team White and Orange have four team leaders, while the Magenta and Teal teams have two each.
At the end of Week 1, Teal was in the lead with 58 points, followed by Orange with 37 points, White with 16 points, and Magenta with 4 points. Teal was able to gain a big lead by completing the tasks that had more points, such as the Token Decoration, Banner Rally, and the Olympics Opening Ceremony. All the teams did participate in our Daily CPJ Minigames events, which were organized by one of our Community Committee Activity Leads, Mz. The teams also gained points for replying to a Poll.
WEEK 2
In Week 2, more quests were introduced. This included weekly quests, more contests and deadline quests, and more permanent quests. Some of the new quests allowed our teams to log onto Club Penguin Journey as well. A graphic made by Community Committee Head Zooy was made to show the scoring for Week 1. It also included the new quests for the week. Zooy also made a graphic with the current permanent quests. You can find these in the pins of the Quests channel if you are on a team.
At the end of Week 2, Teal is still in the lead with 97 points, Orange with 37 points, White with 23 points, and Magenta with 13 points. Teal was able to maintain their lead by completing multiple of the quests with higher points. But all teams were able to earn points this week by completing the new Era Establisher quest, through CC Daily activities, or by pinging all the admins.
