The Legends Cup XVI commenced on July 11. This year’s tournament featured nine competing armies, including the Romans of Club Penguin, Snow Walkers, Army of Club Penguin, Dark Warriors, Help Force, Star Force, Water Vikings, Rebel Penguin Federation, and Pizzaioli of Club Penguin.

LCXVI Bracket
The Qualifier Rounds commenced with the Romans confronting the Snow Walkers of Club Penguin. The engagement was closely matched in terms of troop strength; however, the Romans established a lead through better tactics, speed, and formations. The match concluded with the score recorded as 2-1-0 in favor of the Romans.
The Quarterfinals commenced with the Romans facing off against the Army of Club Penguin. The battle concluded in favor of the Clovers due to the Romans not reaching the size of five troops in the battle. In the second battle, the Dark Warriors faced off against the Help Force. Although Help Force won all three rooms, the Dark Warriors put up a fight. Throughout the battle, HF appeared more active, with fewer AFKs compared to the DW. The third battle featured the Water Vikings and the Star Force. The battle concluded in a decisive Vikings victory due to SF’s inability to attain a troop strength of five. The quarterfinals concluded with the Rebel Penguin Federation facing off against the Pizzaioli of Club Penguin. The match ended with a victory for the Rebels, as the Pizzaioli failed to meet the minimum troop requirement. While there is limited information available regarding the Pizzaioli.
Army of Club Penguin vs. Help Force
Room 1 – Forest
On July 25, 4pm EST, the Army of Club Penguin faced off against the Help Force. The battle commenced with the Army of Club Penguin entering first, followed by the Help Force. ACP had 66 troops while HF had 36. ACP then surrounded the room, with no clear sign of HF’s formation. As the battle commenced, ACP’s size grew to 90 troops, and HF grew to 46. Later in the battle, HF bombed and then formed an X formation, though it wasn’t noticeable due to ACP’s size advantage. Ultimately, ACP was just far too large for the Helpers to overcome. The first round concluded in favor of the Army of Club Penguin.
Room 2 – Mines
ACP entered the Mine first again due to an error in HF’s ping from the Judges. Despite the setback, Help Force were not far behind. ACP made a Triangle, while HF formed a V formation. As the battle advanced further, ACP created an arrow formation, while HF encircled the room. Help Force exhibited both gaps and significant clustering in certain areas, resulting in an unsatisfactory appearance. Throughout the room, both armies displayed comparable speeds; however, ACP experienced a brief slowdown at one point. Ultimately, due to the overwhelming size advantage and better formations, the Army of Club Penguin claimed victory in the second room.
Room 3 – Iceberg
ACP entered the Berg first, followed by HF. They immediately dominated with their formations, and Help Force followed but took a little longer to make their X. Similar to Forest and Mine, the ACP were far too large for Help Force to keep up with. HF bombed into a Plus, and ACP made a boat. Later in the battle, ACP bombed into an upside-down-triangle with a vertical, and Help Force surrounded the room. Ultimately, due to the size difference once again, the Army of Club Penguin claimed victory.
The battle concluded in a conspicuous ACP victory in all rooms.
Pingo, Water Vikings HCOM: If you had to tell me, on a scale of 1 to 10, how much of a fuck do you give about HF v ACP, how much would that be
Mabel, Senior Reporter: I think a lot of people underestimate just how crazy Help Force can be lol, but this battle I was not too sure on who would win when the battles got announced. ACP has a pretty strong EU division, but both armies have their strengths in battles. I was kinda expecting it to be a closer battle rather than Clovers sweeping all three rooms, but you can’t win all in these tournaments. Ggs Help Force 🫡
Znation, Romans Leader: Really fun battle
Immortalchickans, Dark Warriors HCOM: Thought this was a fun semifinal to watch. There were some really creative formations throughout the battle, and both armies had moments where they looked strong! While there were a few messy transitions and areas that could’ve been cleaner, the pace of the battle kept it engaging :)). Overall, it was an entertaining match that showcased the effort both armies put into their preparation
Rebel Penguin Federation vs. Water Vikings
Room 1 – Casa Fiesta
On July 26, 4pm EST, the Rebel Penguin Federation faced off against the Water Vikings. The battle commenced with the Rebels entering the room first, followed by the Vikings. RPF made a sideways E, while WV was rambling for a bit before they got in the same formation. The size difference was noticeable, with the Rebels having 85 troops, while the Vikings had 59 troops. Later in the battle, RPF bombed and successfully covered WV. Following the bomb, RPF did an asterisk formation, while WV made a triangle. WV was visible at the bottom, but RPF covered the rest of the room. RPF managed to dominate throughout most of the room, getting a clear win. Better forms, completion, speed, coverage. The first round concluded with the Rebel Penguin Federation claiming victory.
Room 2 – Snow Forts
Water Vikings entered the room first, followed by the Rebel Penguin Federation. Both armies had messy formations, with the Rebels forming a right triangle, and the Vikings forming an underlined V. The Rebels moved first with a waterfall, followed by the Vikings. Both armies moved, with several AFKs staying behind. The formations were once again messy. Neither army stood out enough to win the room. RPF was slightly better initially; WV was slightly better near the end. The second round concluded in a TIE.
Room 3 – Iceberg
Water Vikings entered the room first and circled the room, followed by the Rebel Penguin Federation, who formed a circle with a vertical. WV moved first with a good bomb, but got covered shortly after by RPF. Regardless, they made an infinity form, while the Rebels made an upside-down triangle. WV got the upper hand with the infinity form on this set of formations. WV moved and made an anchor while RPF also moved and made an infinity formation. Both armies were equally good in completion, tactics, and speed. The third room concluded in yet another TIE.
The match concluded with the Rebel Penguin Federation claiming victory and moved on to the finals to face off against the Army of Club Penguin.
Pingo, Water Vikings HCOM: did you burp per every room draw
Mabel, Senior Reporter: I saw the leaders work firsthand so despite the results, being able to tie two rooms with them was actually pretty impressive considering how RPF has been in the last few years in regards to Legends Cup. RPF for sure are hard workers and deserve to advance just as much as anyone else.
Znation, Romans Leader: Really fun battle, I had tears streaming down watching it.
Immortalchickans, Dark Warriors HCOM: My opinion on ACP vs HF:
I think this battle pretty much highlighted how important consistency and organization are in high-level competition. Both armies stayed active and showed good movement throughout the match, with several well-executed formations. Even with the size difference influencing the battle, it was still enjoyable to watch because both sides continued to put in effort until the very end, making it a solid semi-final overall ^_^
Congratulations on ACP and RPF for winning, and Good job for WV and HF for making it to the Third place match up
