The Centenary Solstice Story #1

In the year 2029, the central committee known as CPA brought together all Major and Small/Medium armies to discuss events, wars, and treaties—though strange, unexpected things weren’t uncommon there either. Among these many forces, two armies in particular would reshape everything: the Army of Club Penguin (ACP) and the Elite Guardians of CP (EGCP). Together, they were about to write a new chapter in history.

(Chapter 1) Conflict Among Leaders

[Klondike – Coffee Shop]

The Coffee Shop was, arguably, the heart of Klondike. It was where leaders from different armies gathered to trade rumors, argue over the “Top Ten Armies,” and gossip about the latest events of the Community Committee. On a worn leather couch near the window, two leaders sat in tense silence: Ugly, current Commander-in-Chief of the Army of Club Penguin (ACP), and Fitsuki, current Commander-in-Chief of the Elite Guardians of CP (EGCP).

Both of them stared ahead, waiting for the other to speak first…

Ugly: What do you want from me again, Fitsuki? I already told ya EGCP is in the top four, and I’m not changing that spot again.

Fitsuki: Oh, brother. We’ve been having way more events in CPAB than your stupid CPJ events.

Ugly: WHAT NOW???

Fitsuki: Yes, you heard me right. We’ve been running events with a max of 20+ people.

Ugly: Ha! Are you proud of 20+? Our army is hitting 30+ troops. Beat that.

Fitsuki: Damn… Just wait till the leader meeting later. I’ll give you one last chance.

Ugly: Bet.

The two leaders stood up from the couch, neither willing to back down, and stalked off in opposite directions. Before they could get too far, Link, head of the Top Ten Committee, called all major and S/M army leaders inside the Coffee Shop.

A steady stream of leaders filed in, representing armies from every corner of Club Penguin Armies. Together, they packed into the elevator and rode from the bustling bottom level up to the CPA Meeting Room. One by one, they took their seats around the long table—Ugly and Fitsuki included—bracing for another week of rankings and debate.

A few minutes later, Link rose from their chair and cleared their throat, holding a clipboard with the latest standings.

Link: Okay, leaders of the armies. As we all know, last week ACP was in 1st place, HF in 2nd, SS in 3rd, EGCP in 4th, RPF in 5th, TCP in 6th, WV in 7th, SWAT in 8th, 9th was Aliens, and finally 10th was a tie between Scars of CP and WH. Any questions before we proceed?

The room buzzed quietly—until, suddenly, both Fitsuki and Ugly raised their hands. The other leaders stiffened, tension hanging heavy in the air.

As Fitsuki and Ugly raised their hands to settle the feud between them, Templars 2ic, Elsa, asked the leaders to explain and glanced between them, clearly annoyed.

Elsa: What in the dark side is going on here???

Ugly: It’s none of your business, Elsa.

Fitsuki: I’ll give you one last chance, Ugly.

Ugly narrowed his eyes.

Ugly: Fine. Say it.

Fitsuki: Either give us your server “Mammoth” peacefully… or face us in a war.

The room fell silent for a second, and a few leaders exchanged uneasy looks.

Ugly: You already know my answer, Fitsuki. I won’t give you Mammoth. Nor let you take the top spot, no matter what. I accept the war—and heck, let’s make it a hundred battles, because you’ll surrender soon enough.

Fitsuki: Then this third war between ACP and EGCP will go down in history. Get ready.

Fitsuki pushed back his chair and stormed out of the meeting room, then out of CPA Headquarters altogether. Ugly stayed seated for a moment, the weight of what he’d just set in motion sinking in. Around them, murmurs rose. Other leaders whispered to their HCOMs, already talking about lockdowns and emergency plans if things got messy.

Ugly clenched his fists tightly…

Ugly: This battle won’t be an easy one… I need to prepare. Fitsuki has his US troops… but I have the upper hand. I’ve got AUSIA and UK troops ready.

With renewed determination—and a flicker of anger—Ugly stood and walked out of the room. The other army leaders, and even Link, watched him leave with growing concern, knowing that whatever came next would shake CPA to its core…
