June brought the summer vibes to the army community and marked the beginning of the Legends Cup campaign for several armies. As we enter the Twentieth Summer in Club Penguin Armies, we witness surprising comebacks and a whole ambience of focus and preparation for what can be one of the biggest seasons of the year.

In the same way as the previous months, the Club Penguin Armies community came together and voted on their Top 5 Moments for June via polls in the Discord server. Although fewer moments were put up to vote (a total of 17), the community remained fairly active, with leadership changes in several armies and the opening and reopening of a few others.

#5 – Star Force Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary

On June 15, Star Force celebrated its 1st Anniversary with a special event on CPA Battleground, peaking at 16 penguins and pushing through a mid-event server outage. Founded by Fun X Time, who launched the project exactly five years after his entry into SWAT, the group has carved out a solid niche among small-medium armies by hosting active rogue events on Club Penguin Journey (including their first-ever Pride Parade) and extending Season 3 of their custom Minecraft server, STARCRAFT. Boasting a strong growth trajectory of over a hundred enlists since its 2025 launch, the army is planning to blend multiple gaming platforms to expand the community and aiming to hit a max of 30 active penguins by next year.

#3 – Fire Warriors RETURN TO CPA

One of the biggest moments in June was the return of the Fire Warriors. After more than four years of inactivity, AustinFraud announced the army’s revival on May 19, 2026. Their goal is to continue the legacy of the successful 2021-2022 generation. Founded in 2007, Fire Warriors has had several generations, earning a reputation through major tournament runs and winning Challengers Cup II in 2021. Their official reopening took place on June 19 and marked the return of one of CPA’s most recognizable names.

#2 – cpa : battleground Unveils New Server Map Update

June 17, 2026, was observed as an important turning point in CPA : Battleground history when game developer Superhero123 announced the deployment of a new server selection screen. In summary, the screen featured an interactive map that could send a player to the desired server by locating it. While this screen did not entirely replace the traditional server list, this change was met with mixed reactions by the army community. The much-anticipated update was first hinted at in February this year and has been actively developed by Superhero123’s co-developers, df44 and Lort533.
