Welcome back to Behind the Scenes, a column that delves into the everyday lives of community members. Today, we will go further into the daily routine of Senior Reporter Kath to find out what she does in and out of the Club Penguin army community.

In addition to her High Command role in the Water Vikings, Kath serves as a Senior Reporter for Club Penguin Armies. She commenced her career as a Reporter-in-Training on December 30, 2025, and subsequently progressed to higher positions. So far, Kath has written 13 posts for the organization’s website, with the latest being the recent, trendy Fire Warriors revival.

Furthermore, Kath has been dedicated to her work, demonstrating her commitment by composing articles of time. Additionally, she actively assists her colleagues on the Club Penguin Armies staff server by entering their private individual work threads, where her engagement is notable. In recognition of her exceptional efforts, she was awarded the Media Member of the Month for February 2026.

In former Editor-in-Chief Kira’s and present Editor-in-Chief Diwix’s words, “Kath has made her mark on the department.” They also added that she is “A helpful hand in the department.” Moving forward, Kath maintains a list of reporter stamps she has earned in her work thread, reflecting her collector interest. In May 2026, Kath made it to the top five most active reporters. Based on the statistics, the six-months reporter’s most active period was January in the same year, when she published 3 posts.
Army Background
On May 7, 2025, Kath was formally recruited into the Aliens, signifying her entry into the army community. She demonstrated exceptional dedication and capability, leading to her promotion to Staff Member on June 7. By October 18, she had further distinguished herself and advanced to the role of High Command Member by October 18. While serving with the Aliens, Kath participated in the battle against the Army of Club Penguin in 2025. Kath also took part in notable tournaments, including Around the World Cup II, Legends Cup XV, and October Horrors.

On November 14, 2025, Kath transitioned from the Aliens to join the Water Vikings. Subsequently, on December 20, she rapidly ascended to the role of Fourth-in-Command. Following her dedicated service within the Water Vikings and her contributions to the conflict against the Templars, she was promoted to a High Command position on April 25, 2026. Presently, she holds the position of “Viking Lord,” serving as a Third-in-Command within the Water Vikings. Throughout her tenure with the Water Vikings, she also participated in well-known tournaments, including Christmas Chaos XV and March Madness XI.

What hobbies do you have outside of Club Penguin Armies?
My hobbies are mainly: Writing, photography, reading, coloring and gaming haha
What made you decide to work as a reporter?
Lucifer, Jojo and Mz. They all knew I loved to write and they got me in CPA Reporters!
Why did you select Kath as your name?
Kath is one of my nickname, so I decided to stick with it!
Which show or film is your favorite?
My favorite movie would be Princess Diaries
What are your objectives for this year, both personally and in the community? How many have you completed thus far?
Community: I wanted to reach HCOM and got it (Yayy!!) and maybe get Associate Editor
Personally: I want to finish writing my book. I am doing a book of poems and I am somewhat halfway done writing it!
Based on her responses, Kath has several interests that she continues to pursue, and she appears eager to continue serving in the army community and having a positive influence. We hope she completes the book she has been writing before the end of this year, and we wish her the best of luck on her journey within the army community. What are your thoughts on Kath’s work?
