What Is Your Army Doing For Pride Month 2026?

Pride Month is when certain members of the army community get involved in promoting gender equality. The LGBTQ+ community has always been given an equal status in the army, and armies continue to uphold this status. Let us learn more about what the armies are up to this June.

June is observed annually as Pride Month worldwide. While not everyone may be interested in supporting the movement, certain armies have decided to assert their support through activities and changing server profiles. Last year, armies held Pride marches, kicked off Pride parties, hosted Pride flag events, played with server role colors, and encouraged their troops to attend the organization’s official Pride Parade. Furthermore, through these efforts, armies have shown their continued support for the LGBTQ+ community within each army. Moreover, these actions paint the army community in good light.

By the way, Club Penguin Armies is hosting a Pride Parade this Sunday, just like every year. At this esteemed community meet-up, it is anticipated that troops from each army will attend in large numbers. In addition, this event has been brought to the army community by the Community Committee department of the organization, in coordination with the Administration. When CPA Administrator Jojo Teri was asked whether armies are still doing enough for Pride Month, he answered…

I wouldn’t say that we can define how much the Pride Month should be celebrated. Each army has its own culture and they host events based on it. The general culture of the entire army community also shifts from year to year. Apart from that, people have their personal opinions too which affect celebrating events like that. At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter if armies celebrate the Pride Month at all. In my opinion two things matter regarding the Pride Month.

1. That all people in the armies are treated equally and with respect. People shouldn’t receive unfair treatment or harassment because of their sexuality, they should be viewed like everyone else.

2. Pride Month should not be pushed to people who want to celebrate it. Activities about it can/should be open to everyone but they should be optional. If they are forced on people this will only cause polarising behaviours and general upset.

Based on Jojo’s response, we can understand that not everyone may be expected to celebrate the occasion. Moreover, he suggests that armies should make pride-related activities less pressurizing for troops. Now, let us ask representatives from certain armies regarding their plans for Pride Month this year.

What is your army doing for Pride this year?

Ams, Aliens Leader: Hi!
We have a bunch of events pride related planned, as we really want everyone to feel safe and heard in aliens. We try to make them enjoy the Pride Month by doing events that they can enjoy and celebrate themselves, no matter if they are outed irl, they are always welcomed to celebrate this with us 🤍
We also have a server profile picture, that i invite everyone to look at closely, i personally love the little hidden hints, and a brand new server banner, covering both our Olympics and Pride Month !

Borapenguins, Templars Leader: Sidie9 sat us all down for a leadership meeting on the 1st of June. She told everyone involved that we needed to be more gay. I’ve been trying my best, man.

The troops love it though!

Lucifer, Help Force HCOM: We’re planning on hosting some fun activities, a pride parade near the end of the month, and of course changing the server to match the LGBTQ+ energy our troops bring!!!🏳️‍🌈

Fun X Time, Star Force Leader: Star Force held its first-ever Pride Parade on Saturday, June 6, on Club Penguin Journey. While we did not get the large numbers like we usually do at our igloo raids, we believe the event was successful. That day, we rallied across the island rooms and made a difference that made the LGBTQ+ community heard. Moreover, we have also set the server’s avatar pride-themed, featuring a penguin in SF’s uniform with a rainbow flag in the background. Pride Month also observes the army’s most celebrated event, Star Force’s Anniversary. This year, on June 15, SF will have its First Anniversary event, making the month more joyful! All in all, Star Force is delighted to support gender equality, and I believe this equality should remain for the entirety of every year. Personally, I am a strong believer of gender equality.

Link3000, Rebel Penguin Federation Leader: As usual we have changed our icon and banner. Many people have also changed their usernames to something pride related.
We have already hosted some pride themed events and are hoping to host some more. And we currently have a pride themed igloo decorating contest.

Nitro, Magma Clan Leader: On this pride month we hope to give recognition to our amazing leaders AB and Israel. We hope to celebrate them and support them along with everyone else who are a part of the LGBT community. Happy pride month^-^

Roxy, Army of Club Penguin Leader: We’ve got some exciting events lined up for Pride Month, with a few surprises in store! Since the themes are haven’t been revealed to our troops, you’ll have to wait and see what happens! 👀 We did start the Pride Month celebrations with a Pride Fashion Show and it colorfully rocked (pun intended)!!

Lydia from the Water Vikings and Thunder222 from the Shadow Legionnaires were asked too, but decided not to respond.

This time too, armies seem to continue the tradition of updating server profiles and hosting thematic events. More so, armies are putting in extra effort irrespective of whether they share an LGBTQ+ population. Undoubtedly, these nurturing acts signify inclusivity and gender equality. What other things can you innovatively suggest to armies for Pride Month? And, by the way, are you attending the Pride Parade this Sunday?
