Few tournaments in the army community possess the unique atmosphere and international flair of Around the World Cup. Created by former Chief Executive Producer Mchappy, the competition has become a global battleground where armies from every major time zone clash for glory in an intense round robin format. Following last year’s victories by the Aliens in the Major division and the Templars in the Small-Medium division, Around the World Cup III has officially begun. After an intense qualifier battle, the Xbox Republic secured the final Group Stage spot, completing the lineup for what promises to be another unforgettable edition of the tournament.
ARMY OF CLUB PENGUIN VS FIRE VIKINGS
ACP dominated the battle from start to finish with superior size, creativity, and coverage, maxing around 50 penguins throughout all three rooms. Their strong formations and constant pressure overwhelmed FV despite a few minor gaps and bunching moments. FV struggled with small, scattered, and unclear forms, lacking synchronization and coverage to challenge ACP effectively. Overall, ACP’s consistency and dominance secured them a convincing sweep in all three rooms.
ALIENS VS SHADOW LEGIONARIES
Aliens dominated the battle from start to finish with superior size, coverage, and activity, maxing around 38 penguins throughout the battle. Their consistent pressure, strong formations, and fast-paced tactics allowed them to control every room despite a few minor gaps and AFKs. SL struggled heavily with activity and awareness, often appearing asleep and unable to maintain effective coverage or clear formations against Aliens’ constant movement. Overall, Aliens’ size advantage, consistency, and dominance secured them a convincing sweep in all three rooms.

Aliens vs SL – Iceberg
TEMPLARS VS XBOX REPUBLIC
TCP comfortably secured the victory as XBOX struggled to participate throughout the battle. With XBOX mostly AFK and eventually forfeiting, TCP controlled both rooms with ease, maintaining sizes around 10-11 penguins. Although TCP had a few AFKs and some slower or uneven formations, they still showed far better activity, coverage, and organization overall. In the end, TCP’s consistent presence and XBOX’s inactivity resulted in a straightforward win for TCP.
DARK WARRIORS VS SNOW WALKERS OF CLUB PENGUIN
Dark Warriors completely dominated the battle from beginning to end, controlling every room with superior size, speed, and execution. Maxing around 15 penguins, DW consistently overwhelmed Snow Walkers, who struggled to gather more than 1-2 troops throughout the match. Dark Warriors maintained strong formations, fast tactics, and constant coverage in every room, leaving SW with little opportunity to respond. Overall, DW’s overwhelming dominance and consistency secured them an easy sweep across all three rooms.
With the EU group stage now complete, the playoff picture is finally taking shape. Some armies proved why they are favorites to win it all, while others will need to regroup quickly for the battles ahead. As Around The World Cup III continues, the competition only gets tougher from here.
