Reminiscence
The Seraphic Imperium of Club Penguin, formerly known as the Cleaners of Club Penguin, opened its doors in early December 2025, with a max of 3 attendees at the time. Only a few days later, the army would be renamed to what we know them as today. However, only a couple of weeks later, the army would undergo multiple changes in its leadership, which would initially go into their shutdown near the end of December.
SECOND ASCENT
The Seraphic Imperium would later announce its reopening on April 11. Not too long after, army leader Vier would announce its alliance with the Fire Vikings, reverting to another announcement towards a declaration of war against the Shadow Legionnaires.
The army would also later ally with the Templars, although the reason for the alliance is currently unknown, it is not strange, as the army was previously allied with the Templars before its shutdown, giving this second generation clear hope for them to continue down its initial plans.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to the founder of Seraphic Imperium, Zed, for an inclusive interview.
Interview
I. What has been your favorite moment in the history of the SICP?
Honestly, it was the reaction we (Zall, Kennedy, and I) got when I created the army
II. Have you found out why the SICP started as the Cleaners?
We had originally changed it due to the fact that is was similar to the Janitors, and also due to the fact the name “cleaners” had no fear factor.
III. Are you happy to have joined the CPA community?
Yes, after the first event I attended in 2021 (I believe it was Rainbow Rampage) i had been fully invested in the CPA community.
IV. When you joined your first CPA, did you ever think that you’d lead an army?
No, although I thought the fact multiple armies was cool.
V. Do you have any advice for those who are new to the CPA community or who wish to become the best leaders / staff they can be?
Uhh
I’d say make sure to listen and learn from more experienced community members
And take any opportunity to lead/recruit/attend events
Because anything you do for an army is valuable experience
VI. Would you like to add anything else to this interview?
No
It is clear that Zed has loved his time in Club Penguin Armies, and that it is not just the battles that make CPA unique, but the friends also made along the way, making Zez invested in the community, especially since the beginning of his career. What do you think about the return of the Seraphic Imperium? Do you think their second generation will bring more to their community than the first?
