INTRODUCTION
Few names in the army community attract respect when mentioned. In a community that demands high levels of user activity and team action, not many people can say they have harnessed those elements to their favor. The ones that do, however, usually waste no time in showcasing such talent. Their presence alone will often change the tone and elevate the operations of any army they find themselves in. In an ever-evolving community, these types of people are extremely invaluable.
Over at the People’s Imperial Confederation, you can find one of these rare gems tutoring the new generation of troops. As one of the current advisors, Alucard has been part of the PIC backbone for quite some time. With a journey beginning in 2019, he has been through everything the battleground has to offer. Despite being one of PIC’s more prominent figures, he did not start his army career there. Let us go to the beginning.
PERFECT TIMING
As we all know, 2020 and COVID-19 left a giant impact on the world. Businesses were negatively impacted, education was disrupted, and a global lockdown was enforced. Due to more people being indoors, this meant that the Club Penguin army scene had blossomed into a golden age like never before. Army troop maxes were very high, and tournaments proved to be very competitive. With regular averages of 50-120 throughout the community, this era of armies was nothing but grand.
Before this golden era began, however, Alucard had the opportunity to step into the community and refine his talents. He joined the Templars of Club Penguin in December 2019, where high-ranking members taught him valuable skills like recruiting and troop retention. After 3 months with the Templars, Alucard left to team up with Krosive and TrapAnt to create the Dark Vikings on March 20. Unfortunately, this first generation would not last long, leading Alucard and Krosive to join the Ice Warriors. During their time in IW, they had gained great experience in army leadership. Following a promotion to 5th-in-command, he and Krosive would leave, where, after another short tenureship in the Templars, they would try their hand with the Dark Vikings once more. Although this new generation was short-lived, all of the experience Alucard had gained with leadership in armies up until this point would prove extremely useful later on.

GLORY DAYS
Fast forward to May 2023, and Alucard finds himself in conversations with PIC. Successfully, the position of Third-In-Command would be extended to Alucard. In a perfect opportunity to display his experience, World War IX would prove very chaotic for some armies. Among the chaos, PIC was able to help forge an alliance named the Sapphire Concordat. The war would end with no winners, though, with armies agreeing on a collective war score drop. For his efforts, Alucard would be promoted to leader sometime later. As one of PIC’s more experienced individuals, his run as leader in PIC would be a legendary one.
Beginning the journey, Alucard quickly captured the Beach Brawl III trophy for the Confederation. Notably, Alucard was recognized for his skill and was awarded PIC’s Medal of Vitality. This dominance from Alucard and the PIC would also not go unnoticed. When the 2023 Winter Awards came, trophies were waiting for both of them. For the Confederation, the community fashionably voted for them in the Best S/M Army category. Boasting 36 votes over second place, it was clear who was on top at that time. This community opinion also seemed to influence the Best S/M Leader vote, where voters elected two PIC leaders. That being said, Alucard had still put up a 12-vote gap over his PIC counterpart, claiming the award with 32 votes.

Alucard and PIC had not stopped to gloat, however. As the new year of 2024 rolled around, the two had remained hungry for more. Luckily, an opportunity to sate their bloodlust would arise. In an exciting tournament announcement, the highly anticipated 2024 New Year Bonanza was confirmed. Quickly, Alucard and the Confederation would poise themselves for victory. Being one of the favourites in their bracket, finding PIC in the S/M Grand Finals came as no surprise. After all the hectic battling, PIC proved stronger and defeated the Winged Hussars to become champions. For all of the efforts and dedication, Alucard had accordingly gained his spot in PIC’s Hall of Fame.

INTERVIEW
Curious to hear some words straight from the man, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Alucard for an exclusive interview.
Looking back on your army journey, do you have any regrets/wishes?
Of course there’s a lot of things in my past that I’m not too proud of, specially with being around the wrong crowds and involving myself with things I condemn so heavily now, but I overall I don’t necessarily regret what happened during those times as they served as valuable life lessons on who I should and shouldn’t trust online.
What is one of your favourite moments in the army community?
100% it has to be the build up and eventual win against SWAT in the Beach Brawl III grand finals. The tensions were incredibly high and we were so motivated to destroy SWAT after they betrayed us and sent members from another army into our server to attend for us to try get us disqualified, to win so comfortably over an army we once considered to be our Brothers was an incredible feeling and I’ve never been more proud of PIC than in that moment.
Is there anyone/anything specific that has helped you get to where you are now?
It’d have to be my closest friends, both CPA and IRL. They’ve helped me through my darkest times and despite everything they’ve always stuck by me even when I wasn’t the best person to be around,
(shoutout brit gang even if we don’t talk as much anymore, love you guys <3)
What does being in the PIC Hall of Fame mean to you?
It’s such an honour for me to be considered a member of the PIC Hall Of Fame, I never expected to lead PIC let alone be bestowed one of the highest titles in the army. I am eternally grateful to Sidie and Shallissa for the amazing opportunity they gave me to prove myself in PIC after I was let go by ACP following the Dark Vikings exposé, as well as everyone I ever led beside for giving me a chance to become a better person :picpet:
Lastly, do you have any advice for some of the upcoming leaders and armies in CPA?
Don’t be stupid and get involved with the wrong crowds, peace and love ✌️

Leaving behind a talented career, Alucard will forever reside in the People’s Imperial Confederation Hall of Fame as one of their most prestigious leaders. With tournament wins and CPA trophies, there aren’t many that can compare to his accolades. Even though the sun has set on Alucard’s career, he continues to shine as an advisor for the new generation of PIC. Do you have anything you’d like to ask Alucard? Will he ever return to lead an army? Where do you rank Alucard in the all-time army leader list?
