Over the past week, the community has welcomed the Witches, and they have recently formed diplomatic relations with several armies. Today, we will discover what new alliances have emerged.

Army beginnings
The Witches of Club Penguin entered the community on October 13, hosting an opening event which saw a max of 5. Founded by former Artic Vikings leader Kidboy12edit alongside Katsura, the army got off to a positive start. The army were declared upon by the Phantom Republic, and swiftly surrendered, and only a few days later were declared on again by the Romans.
The wii phone army was founded on September 18 by Lort533. Maxing 12 at their opening event, the Wii Phones quickly got to work establishing diplomatic relations. Forming alliances with the Star Force, as well as with the Romans.
The Special Weapons and Tactics are by far the oldest of the three armies. Unfortunately, they have recently been suffering due to poor maxes and inconsistent performances in wars. With recent wars against the Thunder Troops, the Water Troops, and the Romans, it was clear SWAT could benefit from some diplomatic relations.

To benefit the newly registered army, the Witches reached out to both the Wii Phones and the Agents for an alliance. One day following the Witches’ opening, they announced an alliance with SWAT. Following this, on October 16, Witches leader Katsura announced their new alliance with the wii phone army.

Why did you decide to form these alliance(s), and what do you hope comes of it?
Katsura: Well, I didn’t ally with SWAT, the other leader did but I allied with Wii Phone to help them grow like our allies are helping us grow.
WilliamW2010: We allied with the Witches as we S/M armies need to stick together to stand a chance. Especially with the recent removal of 1v1 wars (and other attendee-limiting terms) this is amplified. Same principle ARA stands by.
Lort533: it was a pretty quick decision, they reached out to us about the alliance and we accepted
Evidently these newfound relations in the Small/Medium community will lead to great things. Who knows what these alliances might bring forth. Could we potentially see major conflicts developing? How will these alliances affect the Witches war against the Romans?
