Caracal Cat, Maguro, and Moon Instated As Templars Grand Priors

After Mocha’s departure, the Templars embraced a new chapter in their leadership by appointing Caracal, Maguro, and Moon as the army’s new leaders. This transition reflects the army’s commitment to innovation and growth and signals a fresh wave of strategic vision and dedication to the Templars’ core values.

The Templars have experienced major leadership changes in recent months, with Moon, Maguro, and Caracal Cat emerging as important characters leading the army through trying times. Their joint efforts have been crucial to maintaining communal stability and fortifying the Templars.

Caracal cat

On October 14, 2021, Caracal Cat — who is well-known for her time in the Templars — enlisted in the army. Caracal joined the staff team after just two months due to her active participation and recruitment efforts. Her dedication allowed her to advance quickly through the ranks. In June 2022, she was promoted to Higher Command and played a key role in reviving the army’s AUSIA division, which was struggling at the time. Her efforts significantly strengthened the division, contributing to the Templars’ victories in Legends Cup XII and their conflict against the Special Weapons and Tactics. Caracal has become a well-known figure at HCOM due to her influence.

MAGURO

Maguro became a member of the Templars in late 2020 or early 2021, quickly advancing to the role of Moderator. However, they later departed from the Templars due to a disagreement with former leader Xing. However, after a one- to two-year break, they returned in early 2023, advancing from Moderator to Leader-in-Training. Following a brief hiatus and retirement in July 2023, Maguro rejoined in May 2024, steadily working their way up from the lower ranks of HCOM to the position of leader. In addition to their Templars’ leadership, Maguro expanded their influence in the community by assuming a leadership role within the Phantom Republic.

MOON

Moon’s journey with the Templars began on December 19, 2021, after a brief time in the Secret Service. Over the following year, she fully committed herself to the army, steadily rising through the ranks to join HCOM and eventually becoming a leader. Her loyalty and consistent presence helped her navigate army leadership, making her essential in maintaining the Templars’ prominence during a critical period in the army’s history. Now, she is back at the army’s leadership after spending months away.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to the three leaders to further learn more about their leadership. However, Moon chose not to respond.

How do you envision the future of the Templars under your leadership?

Caracal: I view that things will go according to plan and that my plans for this army will work to ensure that templars will be great again.

Maguro: I envision to not only further the growth, but increase our moderation and HCOM team. With this, it means I’m striving to find different ways to grow the Templars other then the regular old DM recruiting. I’m looking to find people, and keep them hooked.

What inspired you to take on a leadership role within the Templars?

Caracal: What inspired me is that i wanted to prove everyone wrong that “an ausia person simply cannot be leader”. Which is completely wrong. I was inspired to make this army’s ausia division aswell and to basically prove to the people who said i cant get leader wrong. Well to be honest i even doubted and even decided to give up at one point but i did not give up because i wanted to influence my plans for this army and make it go back to the way it was before. I am glad really that i finally got this position after such a long time.

Maguro: I was inspired by the leaders before me. With Dawn, Nicky, and Sidie being gone, I needed to step up and held however possible.

What’s one goal you have for the Templars this year?

Caracal: To bring out the best in our ausia division. My main purpose in Templars is to fix the ausia division and make it acutally exist as this is a US army it would be a bit difficult but ill make sure of it.

Maguro: One goal I have is as of right now grow back to a Major army. Another future goal would be to gain another tournament victory.

If you could change one thing in the Templars to improve the army, what would it be?

Caracal: In terms of improving the army i would definitely like to change the staff behavior and how people are so demotivated to do shit for this army. I want to change that and yeah most definitely id want more support on the ausia division.

Maguro: If I could change one thing, it’d be our inactivity. We will have troops and mods be incredibly active and get heavily promoted and then fall off the face of the Earth. I’m looking to retain our mod and HCOM team to continue our server growth.

Caracal, Maguro, and Moon exemplify unwavering loyalty and determination, standing as the steadfast backbone of the Templars. Their commitment ensures that challenges are met with resilience, paving the way for a strong future in the community. They are shaping a strong future for the army, fostering unity and strength among their ranks. What do you think of them? Will the golden age of Templars return again?

Unfortunately, he parted ways with the army, caused by a dispute with former TCP leader Xing. However, after a hiatus lasting a year or two, Maguro returned to the army community, in early 2023. Maguro also advanced from the role of Moderator to Leader-in-Training.
