Cabin joined Club Penguin armies in 2014. Even though he spent some years in the original era of CPA, he is most known for leading the People’s Imperial Confederation, Templars, Naplam Corps, and most recently the Water Vikings. On October 11th, 2023, Cabin joined the Vikings as a Viking General (third-in-command). After a couple of months on December 2nd, he was promoted to the rank of Viking Commander, taking a leadership position in the army.

During his time in leadership, he led many tournaments, such as the Christmas Chaos XIII, March Madness IX, New Year Bonanza, and recently the Around The World Cup. In addition, Cabin also spearheaded the leadership of two wars, one against the Templars, and the second against the Army of Club Penguin. Beginning with Christmas Chaos, Cabin along with his other leaders led against the Elite Guardians with the Water Vikings coming out victorious.

Moving onto March Madness, The Vikings were up against the Rebel Penguin Federation. With Cabin and his other leaders guiding their troops throughout the battle, the Vikings won first place. When the WV vs. TCP war started, Dino released a declaration of unfinished business, stating past unsolved issues as their casus belli. During those few weeks, many battles were fought and the war ended with the Vikings losing. Shortly after the war with Templars ended, ACP went on to declare on WV. This time, the Water Vikings emerged victorious, with the conflict lasting around two weeks.

Cabin announces his retirement

After a journey full of adrenaline; on June 15th, 2024, Cabin announced his retirement from the Vikings. Now, ClaireMei, and the newly-promoted Ryebread take the mission to keep up with the legacy of previous leaders.

Furthermore, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Cabin to get a better understanding about his retirement.

What was the reason for your retirement?

I am getting too old for this and beginning to have less time to spare.

What were your favorite moments leading WV?

Some of my favorite moments from leading the Water Vikings include winning Christmas Chaos XIII, March Madness IX, and the Forlosning War. I established friendships with many awesome people and created several memories that will last with me for the remainder of my existence.

How do you feel about your retirement?

It is bittersweet. Retirement will open a lot of real life opportunities, but my service in Club Penguin armies played a significant part in my life over the past decade. Regardless, all good things must come to an end and there is a life full of exciting moments ahead of me.

Will you be joining another army?

Leading the Water Vikings was my final act and winning the Forlosning War was my magnum opus. I will not be returning.

With Cabin stepping down from leadership, and many opportunities opening up, we wish him a happy retirement and good luck with his real-life adventures. As for what this departure means for the Vikings, only the future shall tell us. Do you believe this new leadership trio will keep up with his legacy? What do you think will be the future of Water Vikings without their previous main leaders?
