After the retirement of Sidie9, and with March Madness approaching, there have been leadership changes in the People’s Imperial Confederation. The announcement of new leaders came on Thursday, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Confederation.
On February 22nd, Sweater made an official announcement announcing four promotions within the People’s Imperial Confederation staff team. Out of the four individuals who were promoted, two of them were appointed as new leaders of the Confederation. The newly appointed leaders are Saber and Jojo Teri, who became the 35th and 36th Commander-in-Chief respectively. The other promotions included Caitlin, obtaining the rank of Leader-in-Training, and Kobi, who ranked up to Second-in-Command.
Jojo Teri first joined the staff team of Confederation on January 9th, 2024. Due to his previous experience, he was given the rank of Leader-in-Training. As mentioned in the announcement, he has previously served as a leader for Water Vikings. Outside of the Vikings, he also had the opportunity to lead the Lime Green Army. During his short but eventful time with Confederation, he helped the army to win the New Year Bonanza tournament trophy. As well as this, he helped PIC in the war called Wojna Prestiżowa against Winged Hussars.
Saber joined PIC in September 2023 as a Second-in-Command. Before that, he was a member of several armies, such as Dark Warriors, Ice Warriors, and Special Weapons and Tactics. Ever since he joined PIC, he has been proving his worth and abilities by helping the army on its path to victory. During his time there, he witnessed several important moments, such as the Christmas Crusade, and, just like Jojo Teri, he helped them to win the New Year Bonanza, while also playing a part in Wojna Prestiżowa.
Club Penguin Armies contacted the new leaders to learn about their plans and their thoughts on their induction.
What was your initial reaction to being inducted as a leader?
Jojo Teri: I was surprised at how quickly I got promoted. I expected to stay as LiT for a few more weeks. I was happy with the outcome tho
Saber: Honestly I kind of expected it?? I worked hard, I put in a lot of effort and I knew that eventually it was going to pay off. There was mention of promotions before they even happened, so in my heart and soul I knew that I deserved that spot.
Did anyone inspire you on your way to leadership?
Jojo Teri: The leaders of pic inspired me to continue my hard work. seeing them put much effort in PIC made me also wanting to struggle for making PIC great
Saber: I’d like to say a major thank you to someone who’s helped me all the way through my army journey and who’s always believed in me no matter what, which would be me. I couldn’t do this without myself.
Do you have plans for the army or ideas you would like to implement?
Jojo Teri: I do have several plans for PIC in order to make the server more active and help PIC grow its numbers. You will see them in practice
Saber: Honestly I’m trying to work on regularly recruiting, boosting the EU division and trying to strengthen communication! Even just keep a routine of trying to recruit once a week does so much for the army and communicating with the leaders also helps the army so much!
Is there a message you would like to forward to PIC members who are currently working towards their army goals?
Jojo Teri: Most goals are achievable through dedication and consistency. Keep trying and eventually, you will reach the target.
Saber: Anything is possible if you make it!! If you don’t get the outcome that you hoped for right away, be sure to hold your head high and keep trying your best because i PROMISE that those attempts and efforts do NOT go unnoticed by anybody. It’s a good thing to keep trying and to keep your morale up because armies are a rough place.
Through the answers from new leaders, it is easy to conclude that they will do their best to improve the People’s Imperial Confederation army. As mentioned in the announcement, the rest of the team is sure of their abilities and looks forward to working with them. We, at the Club Penguin Armies wish Jojo Teri and Saber the best of luck in their new role! Do you believe PIC is about to achieve even more success soon? Will PIC be able to get to Major status with new leaders?
