Designed by Wynn

Club Penguin Armies is excited to announce the nominations for the Winter Awards 2023. If you forgot how we did it, the Summer Awards were intended to cover the first half of the year, with the Winter Awards covering the second half. Therefore, these nominations may seem a tad more mild in comparison. In fact, looking over the past few months, we discovered that our community relatively went through an era of peacetime. In between the regular latest news, community battles and tournaments kept armies the most occupied this winter: the newspaper battle; Double Deck the Halls II; Trick or Treat Trials. All was calm in the community until Christmas Chaos XIII.

The following nominations consider the achievements and actions of individuals and armies from September until now. Just like previous votes, we encourage you not to view this as a popularity contest but instead vote based on your interpretation of recent community events.

 Biggest Army

While there haven’t been that many changes in the armies’ statuses in the past few months, a few armies have managed to hold on to and even grow in size, maintaining their stature as major armies. To this day, they continue to dominate the army scene with their grandeur and glory, never backing down, and never giving up. Which army, in your opinion has shown exceptional resilience on their end and done this to the greatest extent during this year?

Nominations:

  • Army of Club Penguin
  • Elite Guardians
  • Help Force
  • Rebel Penguin Federation
  • Templars

Best major army leader

Being a leader of a major army is certainly not an easy task. Not only do they bear all the responsibilities of their army, but they lead the army through its highs and lows, making sure of the army’s stability and strength through every path of the way. They are a vital component in ensuring their army’s continued existence, and the community may as well be non-existent if it isn’t for all the work and dedication that they put into their respective armies. A good leader is one who not only listens and respects their team, but can communicate appropriately and motivates others significantly in the process. In your opinion, which leader has contributed immensely to their army’s success this year?

They may not pack the same punch as the major armies, but small-medium armies are, without a doubt, an important element in keep the community alive and healthy. Sometimes small-medium armies are often cited as having some of the best army environments in the community. Thanks to their smaller nature, members are able to form tight knit communities where they’ll end up making memories that will last a lifetime. These small-medium armies marched forward in the face of larger opponents, never fearing to back down.

  • Friendly Gamers
  • Penguins of Madagascar
  • People’s Imperial Confederation

BEST SMALL-MEDIUM ARMY LEADER

Our small-medium army leaders have just as big of moments as the major army leaders do, sometimes even more so. A small-medium army leader that is not afraid to charge into battle is one that should be as equally feared. Additionally, they are the key to building an army from the ground up. Better than anyone, they understand the struggle to keep an army alive in the contemporary army age.

These armies have proven time and time again that dominance within the community doesn’t always come with the biggest size. Sometimes it comes with the ability to outsmart your opponent. Sizes does not guarantee victory on the battlefield, the ability to adapt does. The title of “Most Tactical Army” will be awarded to the army that consistently exhibits outstanding performance on the battlefield and rarely loses, even if facing a stronger opponent.

BIGGEST RETIREMENT

UNDERDOGS AWARD (BIGGEST RISE)

This award’s rendition of the Biggest Rise, the Underdogs Award is a shoutout to the army that may have went through the most tumultuous size changes. • People’s Imperial Confederation
  • Templars
  • Water Vikings

  • Christmas Chaos XIII
  • Double Deck the Halls II
  • Trick or Treat Trials

These controversies are not just limited to the armies and their leaders. No, in fact, sometimes our own organization does a little slip up or two.

Brightest Bulb

In a shocking turn of events, Da Best did in fact NOT win the Summer Awards 2023. This came as a huge blow to the community, demanding a recount. Brightest Bulb is perhaps the most infamous award out of the whole list. This one is given to those who have some quirks that certainly make all of our time in armies more interesting. It’s hard to see where the community might stand today without the very valuable input from these people.
