In a recent turn of events that surprised many, Hidcre decided to take a break from the People’s Imperial Confederation leadership.
The People’s Imperial Confederation (PIC) was founded on October 17th, 2019 by Sidie9 and Sirproditor. Throughout its existence, the army has participated in many notable conflicts including World War Rewritten, World War VIII, and, most recently, World War IX. PIC also took part in several tournaments, even reaching the Grand Finals of two iterations of the Challengers Cup. However, it was only this summer when the Confederates finally obtained their first trophy, winning Beach Brawl III.
Undoubtedly, the Confederation has proven itself capable of remaining a consistent and growing army in the chaotic small/medium army universe. Amidst a sudden wave of inactivity, however, the Confederates’ Chairwoman, Shalissa, made public Hidcre‘s decision to step down from the leadership.
Hidcre joined the army community in 2017, with the Rebel Penguin Federation being her first army. In early 2018, she enlisted in the Pizza Federation, unaware of what the future held for her in the universe of armies. Given her unwavering commitment and increasing skills since the day she joined the army, Hidcre was able to rise through the ranks quickly. She went on to join the leadership on May 23rd, 2020, retiring almost three months later.
After serving as an advisor in Templars, she joined the Confederation, also as an advisor. It was only on December 16th, 2021, that Hidcre formally joined PIC’s leadership, and since then she has faithfully served the army. Hidcre did retire in March 2022, however, the army went on hiatus shortly after. Despite this, she returned as a part of the leadership upon their revival. She has been with the Confederation ever since, until her recent and unexpected temporary departure.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Hidcre to learn more about her decision and her plans for the future.

Nonetheless, Hidcre proved herself more than capable of accomplishing this feat, as she surely played a big role in the army’s development. We, at Club Penguin Armies, wish Hidcre the best in her future endeavors and hope to see her back soon. Hidcre’s case is certainly one of the many examples that reveal the importance of prioritizing real-life commitments over armies. Do you think it’s possible to find a balance between both?
