KLONDIKE, CP Army Headquarters – Following Funky and Trins’ sudden retirement, The Doritos of Club Penguin saw Tia promoted to leadership this week, joining current leaders Shira, Rah, and Possum. What led to this promotion?
Tia began her army career in April of 2020 with the Doritos. Although she began as a member, she became staff by the end of May due to her dedication to the army. After her promotion to HCOM only two months later, her hard work and perseverance continued through her positive interactions with other staff and members.
While still active in Doritos, Tia branched out to other armies as well. She lead Animal Kingdom‘s last generation in July until their shutdown in August. Furthermore, Tia was also Leader In Training in Golden Troops from September to October.
Tia’s efforts were particularly noticed during Christmas Chaos 2020, where she constantly recruited and helped members prepare for the tournament. The leaders took notice of her enthusiasm throughout the tournament as well as during other events. Tia’s work ethic earned her the Honorary Shield Award, the second-highest award that Doritos offers.

Tia remained loyal to Doritos despite their shutdown in January. She stayed active in the server by helping out in any way that she could. After their revival this past April, Tia earned her promotion to Leader In Training. During her time as LIT, she received mentorship from her leaders.
After months of consistent dedication, Tia was promoted to Main Leader on June 6th. Luckily, CPA headquarters was able to reach out to her for an interview on this accomplishment.
Hey Tia, how does it feel to be a part of Dorito’s leadership team?
It feels awesome! I’ve been friends with them for a really long time so we all have fun together whilst also getting everything done of course. I love being able to lead all of the amazing people in our family and while i’ve always helped our troops being leader just means I can help even more. I love being in our leadership team as it makes me responsible for making sure everyone in the army is having a good time, which is what I want to make sure of!
What are some of your short-term plans for the army?
For the army itself we obviously hope to have a lot of fun with Project Conquest and hopefully be successful! Also we’re in the process of setting up a Minecraft SMP server too so getting that released will be super fun. And of course just having fun during the summer months with all our troops!
What are some of your favorite memories that you’ve had with DCP?
Oh definitely all the small memories are my favorite. Just little funny moments that ended up being much more memorable that any big wins. I think its because they’re with some of my closest friends that I feel like I’ve known forever. So whenever we all get together and play games during our game nights its brilliant

Just to thank everyone in Doritos for helping me out to get this far, all of our HCOM team and leaders! and of course including all the people that have taught me so much, even if they’re no longer a part of the team!

It seems like Tia is ready to become Doritos’ newest leader. It will be interesting to see how the army fares under Tia’s direction, especially with Project: Conquest in the picture.
