Darci’s Journey
Darci first joined the army community in 2020. He started in the Doritos of Club Penguin, where he moved up to the rank of sixth in command. After a short time in the Army of the Orient Seas, Darci went back to the Doritos and reached fifth in command. Later, Darci joined the Fire Warriors, reaching the rank of third in command and helping them win the Challengers Cup before the army closed. Following their time in the Fire Warriors, Darci joined the Water Vikings in September 2021.
His leadership potential was evident from the start, and he moved through the ranks quickly, becoming a central figure within the Water Vikings. After a long break, Darci began a new journey in February 2026 by returning to the Water Vikings. Since then, Darci has been a key part of the community, leading the Vikings through many important events. In recognition of his experience and dedication, he was recently promoted to viking lord, also known as third in command, filling a vital role in the High Command team.
Which factors inspired you to pursue a position as an HCOM within the Water Vikings?
Well, every army I was in had one thing in common: they were allied with Water Vikings. It was pretty much a no brainer for me to join Water Vikings and I never regretted it cause of all the friendships I was able to make. I definitely want to continue spreading that positivity and joy of Club Penguin as an HCOM member.
What advice would you give to upcoming or aspiring HCOM members?
My advice would be to work your hardest and be yourself, cause honestly, that’s what has helped me get to where I am today. People will truly appreciate you when you’re genuine with them.
What has been your favourite or most memorable moment so far with the team?
The most memorable moment HAS to be April Fools. Got banned a few minutes before midnight for EST, and since it was already April 2nd for some people, people took it literally and I was just honestly having a good laugh throughout all that.
In your opinion, what is the best part about being part of the HCOM team?
Being part of HCOM has been amazing in getting my voice heard and assisting the army moreso in aspects which I would not be able to do as staff. It’s a wonderful opportunity that I am so grateful for (not to mention I have more freedom to spam my fellow HCOM)
Lastly, do you have any future plans or goals you hope to achieve within the Water Vikings?
Honestly, just success. I’d love to see Water Vikings become a force to be reckoned with and become stronger.
Darci is expected to have a significant impact on the Water Vikings’ future because of his revitalized passion and clear success vision. His journey is far from done, and if his past success is a sign, there will be much more to come. Do you think Darci is ready for another challenge? Do you think he will achieve another win as HCOM within the Vikings? Who do you want to see in the next edition of HCOM life stories?
