The Romans have declared war on a recently opened army, The Cryo Vanguards. Let us uncover what caused the war, its outcome, and the plans these armies have for this year.

Army Origins
The Romans were founded by Explorer7777 in 2006. It is one of the oldest armies, having a rich history and being led by several individuals over time. They officially returned in June 2025 after their shutdown in 2020. On January 29, advisor Smurf officially announced Nardo’s return to the army, joining as the position of legate. Now leading with Znation and Csani, the army keeps on growing and making its name in the Small/Medium Community.
The Cryo Vanguards is a very new army entering the Small/Medium Community, founded by Kento and Dorx in mid-January 2026 after both of them came to a mutual agreement. Kento has been a crucial member of The Romans, and achieved 6th-in-command and soon after 5ic in January 2026. Dorx began his CPA journey in Dark Pirates and rose through the ranks, becoming Co-captain. Later, he joined the Xanthic Imperium and the Templars, but soon left in optimism to lead his own army.
Declaration of war
On 16 February 2026, Roman Legate Znation declared war on the Cryo Vanguards and labelled it the War of Frozen Tears. In their post, they state that CV have made persistent provocations, including troop stealing and recklessly begging to battle them.

In their statement, the Roman leadership emphasised that they do not tolerate troop-stealing or persistently asking Roman troops to attend events of other armies. As a result, the Romans have stated in their post that they will raid all Cryo Vanguard events for the duration of the conflict. The war will proceed under the following terms:

Scheduled Invasions
The first invasion was scheduled to take place on CPAB on Wednesday, February 17, at 3:00 pm EST. Following that, the second invasion occurs 3 days after the first battle, at 3 pm EST. Right now, the war score is 2-0 in favour of the Romans.

Cryo Vanguards surrendered to the Romans during the invasion, scheduling after acknowledging the Romans’ unavoidable size advantage and significantly higher maxes.

What are your expectations for this war?
Znation: My expectations for this war are that Romans will dominate and show that we are not an army to be messed around with.
Kento: We are surely gonna lose even against small armies Tsunamis and Phoenix of CP.
Any words of advice for your troops and staff?
Znation: My word of advice to my staff and troops is to keep working hard on your goal and achieve it.
Kento: Since Romans maxxed 13 against us and we maxxed us 4 in the war, we realised we wudnt win, hence the best choice was to surrender.
Following the end of the war, what plans do you have for your army moving forward?
Znation: My army has plans on participating in March madnesss and see how far we go from there.
Kento: Well we tryna stay neutral with bigger armies, focus more on recruiting, training and eventually growing bigger
