With the holiday season ending, it is now time to look back and see the iconic moments of the previous month. A month shaped by many controversies, armies coming back, leadership changes and the Christmas Chaos XV.

Like the previous month, the Top 5 Moments were selected by the community via a public vote. This time, there were exactly as many significant moments as in November, a total of 24. Let’s see what the community’s favorites were.

5. Scarlet Republic Announces Revival

The Scarlet Republic, a small/medium army founded by long-time Army of Club Penguin veterans Ghostt and Imvge, announced its revival on December 11, 2025. This was after a hiatus that began in October due to declining activity and leadership changes. The return marked a fresh start under Ghostt and new leader Riri, promoted before the hiatus, with plans to build upon past successes. Since reforming, SR rebuilt diplomatic ties with other armies, but on January 5, 2026, it ended its brother alliances with the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin and the Penguins of Agartha, stating the move was strategic. Their decision aimed at focusing on internal growth and more effective coordination rather than maintaining past alliance commitments.

4. People’s Imperial Confederation Ceases Operations Amidst Controversy

On December 7, in an unprecedented announcement, the People’s Imperial Confederation First Secretary, Shallissa, released a statement and shut the army down. This announcement came hours before the Christmas Chaos XV battle between PIC and the Romans, which led to the Romans automatically winning. In the statement, the reason behind the forced shutdown is explained. In it and in the follow up statement, there can be seen several instances of misconduct by both the members of the Higher Command and the leadership of the army. The army has been shut down ever since and there are no signs of it returning anytime soon.

3. CPA Spotlight: SWAT HCOM Found Multilogging

Due to the recent growth of Special Weapons and Tactics, Club Penguin Armies conducted an extensive multilogging investigation. Through it, it was discovered that the accounts “FWAPO2” and “ggoglee” were logged in at the same time with the same IP. It was found that the first account belonged to FWAPO, who was recently promoted to Leader in Training, and the other one to Ggogle, who was a 2ic. FWAPO had used both accounts to attend three events. CPA contacted the SWAT leadership, who assured them that no multilogging would take place again. Given the fact that high-ranking members were involved, penalties were enforced on SWAT, as CPA does not condone multilogging.

2. Water Vikings Celebrate 15th Anniversary

The Water Vikings went through a big and memorable year, starting in January with a short period of hiatus. Their return in February was in every means noticeable, as they came back strong and captured the Candy Crusher Brawl trophy in the S/M part of the tourney. That victory secured WV a clear vision for the future. By March, the Vikings had reclaimed major army status, marking the beginning of a major run throughout 2025.

April brought significant changes, as SavageCobra was welcomed into the leadership team, staying in it for a few months while former leader Raven116 stepped down. There were more leadership changes with Claire stepping down, Rye being removed and Escot, Mato, Lydia being promoted. The army manage to reach the top spot in the Top Ten a few times during the summer and won a war against the Templars. It also co-hosted Olympics with ACP, but did not manage to win them. Throughout December they celebrated each era of the army, hosting large events for each and various activities alond with interviews with former leaders of the army. Finally, on December 28, they celebrated the 15th anniversary of the army, reaching 56 penguins online.

1. Ams Inducted as 12th Aliens Leader

On Sunday, November 30, the Aliens began a new chapter with the promotion of Ams to Admiral, in other words, Commander. This promotion did not come as a surprise. Anyone who has been part of the Aliens for some time had seen the effort Ams had put in. As a member of High Command, she was always active, attending events, helping behind the scenes, and completing her duties with clear care for the army and its future.

According to Ams, what impacted her the most was the sense of wholesomeness within the Aliens. She rose to staff-in-training very quickly and earned many ranks over the past ten months, yet she believes she never lost sight of who she was. Throughout her time in the army, she maintained respect for everyone and consistently shared kindness, expressing deep gratitude for being part of the Aliens.

With the new year starting, we hope that January will have even more events. We have already seen three wars, and one cancelled, in just 12 days. WIll January end up having even more conflicts?
