During the October Horrors tournament, the battles were split between two days. As the qualifiers took place on October 24, the rest of the battles were held on October 26. During the qualifiers, the Witches of Club Penguin fought the Phantom RepublicDuring the Quarter Finals, the Dark Warriors battled the Phantom Republic, the Special Weapons and Tactics faced the Romans, the Fire Vikings fought the Templars, and the Penguins of Agartha faced the People’s Imperial Confederation. This eventually led to the People’s Imperial Confederation and Dark Warriors reaching the finals.

Romans vs Special Weapons and Tactics

Despite the Romans having a higher placement on previous Top Ten Armies posts than SWAT, they did not manage to gain the upper hand. Even though the sizes were close, there was a clear winner. Throughout the battle, SWAT was more active and used more tactics. Whereas the Romans struggled in those areas. Additionally, SWAT formed formations faster and therefore won all three rooms.

Fire Vikings vs Templars

The battle began with TCP entering the room first, followed by the Vikings. Both armies struggled to get more troops online, as the sizes were 5 to 1 for the Templars. Throughout the room, TCP was seen to be more active and consistent, as well as completing their tactics better. On the other hand, the Vikings struggled to keep up a pace and were not able to cover their opponent with their formations. Therefore, the Templars won the first room.

As the second room went on, it soon became clear that it was not much different from the previous room. TCP kept forming formations that made them look bigger than their opponent and kept up their pace. The sizes did not change much, as it was 5 to 2 for the Templars. Although the Vikings tried their best to keep up and cover their opponent, it was to no avail.

The last room began with the Templars entering first. The Vikings tried to form a small V, but gave up quickly after. Despite TCP constantly sending tactics, its pace slowed down. Additionally, TCP formed smaller formations than before.  During the middle of the battle, more troops entered from both sides, giving the Templars an advantage of 7 to 2. As the Vikings were seen to be slow and sometimes not doing anything, the Templars won the room and therefore the battle.

Penguins of Agartha vs People’s Imperial Confederation

The last AUSIA battle of the day included the Penguins of Agartha going up against the Confederation. Despite the Confederation showing up at the battle, POA was seen to be missing. Therefore, the battle ended in a win for the Confederation.

Dark Warriors vs Special Weapons and Tactics

The first Semi-Final was between the Warriors and SWAT. It was clear from the beginning that the Warriors had a size advantage. Despite the size advantage, the SWAT gave it their best and stayed for the entirety of the battle. The Warriors were able to form larger formations and cover SWAT. In addition to this, they stayed active throughout the battle, which SWAT struggled with at times during the battle. SWAT had a slower pace; however, they used their size well. As the Warriors dominated the entire battle, they won the battle and moved on to the finals.

Templars vs People’s Imperial Confederation

The second Semi-Final was much closer in size, as it was 17 – 15 for the Confederation. The battle began with both armies entering around the same time. TCP formed an upside-down V as PIC formed an upside-down T. PIC was able to get into their formation quicker than TCP, as they took longer. Besides this, the Templars had a messier formation, which they eventually fixed. As the battle went on, TCP was able to cover PIC at times. However, PIC was able to cover the Templars more often and was more visible. Near the end of the room, TCP was a bit behind on the Confederation. They were slower and had a messier formation. As PIC was more consistent and quicker, they won the first room.

The second room began with PIC using their size well by spreading their formation out. On the other hand, TCP was messier and inconsistent with its spacing. This caused PIC to stand out in contrast to the Templars. In addition to this, PIC managed to defend the movements of TCP well. The Confederation managed to keep its advantage throughout the room, despite TCP taking up its speed. The room ended with PIC winning as they were larger and quicker during most of the room.

As PIC entered the last room first and TCP quickly followed, the sizes were 16 – 14 for PIC. As the room started, PIC was messier than before as both armies seemed even. Neither army was able to take control of the room. As time went on, the Confederation picked up its performance and managed to dominate the last few minutes. They were quicker with forming the formation and spread out well. Besides this, they looked larger than the Templars as their formation was smaller. Therefore, the room and battle resulted in a win for the Confederation.

Dark Warriors vs People’s Imperial Confederation

With the Finals beginning, both armies had fought their way in. The battle started with both armies entering together. The sizes were 24 – 16 for the Warriors. The Confederation formed a plus, while DW formed a divided V. Neither form was able to cover, as they were equal to each other and exchanged coverage. After this, the Warriors formed an X, and PIC formed an upside-down T. The X looked good compared to the upside-down T of the Confederation, because it was well constructed. The other aspects were equal for both armies, since they had an equal speed and consistency. During the last few minutes, the Confederation formed an X and the Warriors a plus. The plus looked cleaner and more evenly spread out. The room resulted in a win for the Warriors as their formations looked better and they had more coverage.

During the second room, PIC was seen to struggle more than previously. The judges struggled to decipher their formation, whereas DW formed a Z. The Warriors were able to cover PIC, which led to the Confederation changing their formation to a V. This helped them against the Warriors. In the second half of the room, both armies were equal to each other. No army managed to stand out and cover the opponent more. However, during the last few minutes, both armies had messy formations. The room ended with the Warriors winning the room, as they dominated the start of the room.

The last room began with PIC joining the room first and forming a T. In contrast, the Warriors surrounded the iceberg, effectively covering PIC. However, the Confederation covered the top of the room while looking smaller. DW showcased gaps in their formations as well. During the middle, the sides switched with PIC dominating the room and looking larger. Additionally, both armies sent big word bubbles too often to try to stand out. In the last few minutes, neither army looked better than the other. DW defended the movement of the opponent well, but was slower than at the start of the battle. The Confederation, on the other hand, did not take the coverage and looked equal to the Warriors. This resulted in the room ending in a tie.
