On October 12, two of the forefront Small/Medium armies, the Fire Vikings and Romans, announced an alliance. This follows a myriad of newfound diplomatic relations.

A brief recap
The Fire Vikings were founded on November 16, 2024, by Secret Service veteran Yellow Typer. Following a shutdown, they returned to the community in February of 2025. More recently, we have seen them form alliances with armies like Special Weapons and Tactics, as well as Templars. However, this alliance turned sour with TCP declaring war on the Vikings. Over the past week, we have seen FV ally with the Thunder Troops.
As for the Romans, they are notably older than the Fire Vikings. Founded in October 2006 by Explorer7777, it existed as rogue factions before being united by Djgtjvgyhxgy. They recently returned in June and have since then engaged in several conflicts, including against SWAT. Romans also participated in the war against the Rebel Penguin Federation as part of The White Order.
An alliance emerges
Following several other alliances, the Fire Vikings and Romans decided to increase their diplomatic strength by coming together. This culminated on October 12, when both armies announced the community’s newest alliance. This comes after several new armies have been revived and shut down in recent weeks, with diplomacy evolving daily, with extreme volatility.

To find out more about this new alliance, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Romans leader, Yellow Typer, and Carly, FV leader, for an interview; however, the former declined the interview, and the latter has yet to reply.
Evidently, the increasing number of diplomatic relations in the community presents a good future for armies. However, who knows what the future holds for this pair? What do you think will come of this alliance? How will this impact future conflicts? Will this alliance lead to both armies becoming top contenders in the S/M scene?
