Hot sauce army’s early years & conflicts
In 2009, Hypermext54, Dudex219, and Lil_Soulja co-founded Hot Sauce Army after their encounter with a battle between Ice Warriors and Nachos. During their first tournament, they lost but established themselves as a highly ranked army in the aftermath. While the army grew, leadership changes transformed the army and led to some internal turmoil. Despite these changes, the army rose to sixth place in the Top Ten rankings. At the same time, HSA involved itself in multiple wars with armies like Tacos and Club Penguin Crew.
Additionally, the army merged with smaller armies such as the Pizzas and the Indians. These mergers assisted with the army’s growth and made them into the second-ranked army in the community. Furthermore, HSA received several awards from Club Penguin Army Central due to its many successful campaigns. However, Dudex219’s retirement contributed to the army’s closure and the end of their first generation. Ultimately, HSA had short-lived success that ended with the retirement of one of its creators.

Nachos’ Most Influential Moments & Wars
While HSA was new, Nachos had a much more established history in the community. By 2009, the army had already participated in massive conflicts like World War III and World War IV. Moreover, the army formed a fierce rivalry with Army of Club Penguin as they often conflicted. Their relationship also influenced the entire community as they were two of the largest armies. Other than conflicts with ACP, the army also came to blows with Underground Mafias Army, Dark Warriors, Light Troops, Army Republic, and Special Weapons and Tactics. On the other hand, the army proved itself to be a force in many of the tournaments held by CPAC. For example, they won the first iterations of the Legends Cup, Christmas Chaos, and March Madness tournaments. Given their successes, the army became one of the most dominant armies by 2013. Ultimately, the army crossed paths with HSA during this period.

Hot Sauce Army’s Return
As 2013 rolled around, plans for a revival of HSA by Dudex219 culminated in the announcement of an official return in early January. After the announcement, the army started its new generation on January 27, 2013. Moreover, the army fought in a tense war with Doritos of Club Penguin. After both armies signed a treaty, the war ended. In the second war after its return, HSA faced LT with the latter’s no-shows due to claims that the war had ended. Following the war’s conclusion, HSA helped Nachos raid ACP’s server of Breeze. Finally, the two armies formed an alliance that did not last long. In short, HSA’s return altered relationships between armies in the community.

Hot Sauce Army’s Practice Battle Against Army Republic
Hot Sauce Army’s Declaration on Nachos & First Battles
After another war between ACP and Nachos, the alliance between Nachos and HSA broke down after the latter declared war. The declaration claimed that Nachos had been trash-talking HSA despite the two armies’ status as allies. Before the declaration, the two planned a practice battle that Nachos allegedly no-showed. These two factors led to HSA’s eagerness to wage war on Nachos.
In the first battle, HSA claimed victory and returned the server they won to ACP. Comparatively, HSA lost the next battle for White House as they achieved their first victory. Soon after, a controversy arose regarding possibly faked pictures of Nachos’ forfeits in multiple battles. However, CPAC did not find any evidence that the pictures were faked. Following the controversy, Nachos won the next battle as HSA logged off. Meanwhile, the controversy over fake pictures continued as Nachos’ allegations still had not been proven. Finally, the two armies faced off in three battles, where HSA won two of them. All in all, both armies had varying levels of success in the war’s battles thus far.

Hot Sauce Army surrenders war to nachos – May 26, 2013
After HSA’s early success, Nachos turned the tide and won several important battles. Despite losses at White House and Blizzard, the army took back White House in the last battle of the war. With their victory, HSA surrendered the war after the battle with specific terms. These terms included HSA’s return of any servers they successfully invaded and the transfers of Yeti and Flurry to Nachos. As these terms were agreed to, the war ended officially after over a week of battles.

Conclusion
Throughout the years, both HSA and Nachos experienced their fair share of successes. While Nachos never shut down, HSA had to adapt following their return to the new state of armies. In the meantime, Nachos grew to be one of the most successful armies with many victories. However, HSA still proved themselves to be a capable army regardless of the outcome of the war. Since both armies shut down, the war between the two turned out to be one of the last conflicts they had. In short, both armies made the community more interesting thanks to their wars. What do YOU think of the HSA-Nachos war? Why do YOU think their alliance did not last? Do YOU think either army should come back? What are similar conflicts in army history?
