On May 1st, Special Weapons and Tactics inducted Clade as leader. Not long after, they announced a new alliance between them and the Fire Vikings. Let us delve deeper into what led up to these recent decisions.

A long-time member of Special Weapons and Tactics, Clade can confidently say that his journey through the army is one of fidelity and passion for its legacy. He first joined SWAT four years ago. The beginning of his journey was filled with unwavering hard work and passionate loyalty to the army he called home.

Previously, he served as staff with the Army of Club Penguin in the past. However, SWAT has always been the focal point of his identity in the army life. He rose through the ranks under the mentorship of Legoman and Aisha, both fuelling his passion for battle.

The 2022 Green vs. Black Division Tournament and SWAT’s war against the Templars are among Clade’s all-time favorite memories. While Clade paid homage to personal loyalty by coming back after an extended absence, this loyalty is not simply nostalgia and the future of an army he felt obligated to support, but also friends and supporters in that community.

Subsequently, after Clade declared leadership, SWAT’s diplomatic gears were already turning. Roughly two and a half hours later, William formally announced a new alliance between SWAT and the Fire Vikings, marking the beginning of a fresh chapter in the army’s foreign affairs strategy. The Fire Vikings are a recently reestablished army created by Yellow Typer. They were previously merged into the Dark Pirates and had an alliance with TCP.

Club Penguin Armies contacted Clade for an exclusive interview.

Your announcement was bold and inspiring. What do you think needs to change or improve for SWAT to return to an era of dominance?

For SWAT to return to what it once was A war army. Feared and respected. A few things must change. First Discipline and structure. We need to raise our standards. Harsher expectations on staff and HCOM are not a punishment. They are a necessity. Every major army holds their leadership to high standards. Why should SWAT be any different. Every agent should know their role. Feel their importance And wear the SWAT tag with pride. Second Recruitment and mentoring Numbers mean nothing without quality. Quality over quantity. That is the mindset. We will not just recruit. We will train Agents will not just show up. They will lead They will win They will represent SWAT with pride. Third Unity the reason SWAT is still alive is because of the people who refused to let it die. People like me and William and Our HCOM and our staff team. We fought to keep this place standing. If we were not united. SWAT would have been shut down. We are stronger as one! And finally. We are going to remind the community exactly who we are! SWAT is not just another army We are a war machine designed to conquer

SWAT recently entered an alliance with the Fire Vikings. How did that come about, and what are your hopes for this partnership?

SWAT’s recent alliance with the Fire Vikings is just the start. SWAT has a goal to unite all small and medium armies as allies. This is bigger than one partnership, it is about creating a network of strength and unity across the community. Personally, my hope for this partnership is to build a strong, loyal brother ally. One that stands with us in war, supports us in peace, and grows alongside us. Together, we can reshape the future of the army scene starting with trust, respect, and shared ambition.

What kind of legacy do you hope to leave when your time as Supreme Commander eventually ends?

When my time as Supreme Commander ends, I don’t want to be remembered for glory or titles. That was never the point. I did this for the army itself. For the vets who built this foundation. For the creator who started it all. For the memories we made and the legacy we’re still writing. My goal is clear to make sure SWAT never goes through another Dark Age, and that it’s never left in the wrong hands. Weak leaders result in a weak army, and I will do everything in my power to ensure SWAT remains strong, united, and untouchable. I don’t do this for glory. I do this to protect what we’ve built the legacy, the vets, the memories, and the pride we carry. SWAT is more than just an army; it’s something worth fighting for. And I’ll make sure it stays that way, no matter what. I also Would Stay as Advisor/Councillor to make sure the army is protected

Clade’s ascent to leadership represents more than just a shift in hierarchy. It signifies a return to foundational values, resilience, and ambition. With his strong connections to SWAT’s history and a vision honed through experience, he could lead the organization towards the renewal it has long anticipated.

The partnership with the Fire Vikings suggests an active, outward-looking approach. Whether this new phase will reflect SWAT’s glory days or establish an entirely different legacy is still uncertain. For now, however, the agents are coming together once again. Will Clade’s guidance usher in a revival for SWAT, or is the organization merely pursuing illusions of its past? What implications does this novel alliance hold for the current dynamics within military forces today?
