Saber’s Quiet Exit
Following Villa‘s recent induction as Commander-in-Chief of the People’s Imperial Confederation, Saber has quietly and unexpectedly retired. Her departure came without prior announcement or a formal retirement event. However, on March 13, she was awarded PIC’s Medal of Service, marking the conclusion of her leadership.
Saber was officially inducted as the 35th Commander-in-Chief of PIC on February 22, 2024, over a year ago. Since her induction, she has accomplished a lot and helped PIC achieve just as much. The army was able to place significantly higher on the weekly Top Tens under her leadership and persevere through several tournaments and wars during the past year. Among these achievements are the Weeping Weapons War against Special Weapons and Tactics and the Small/Medium section of the Around The World Cup.
Saber’s sudden retirement has left many within the community speculating about the reasons behind her departure. Regardless of the reasoning, her contributions to PIC will not be forgotten. As the Confederation moves forward under Villa’s leadership, it remains to be seen how this shift will shape the future of the army.

A Returning Face
In addition to recent leadership changes, PIC welcomes back a familiar name: Alucard. Known for his remarkable leadership, Alucard has played a pivotal role in PIC’s history, leading the organization to multiple tournament victories and achieving some of its greatest milestones. Following over a year at the helm, Alucard retired alongside Jojo Teri and Snaqe in a wave of retirements in October 2024. Since then, PIC’s leadership underwent many changes, including a merger with the Scars of Club Penguin. With his experience and dedication, many are eager to see what the future holds under this strengthened leadership team.
Club Penguin Armies were unable to secure an interview with Saber, so we reached out to PIC Leader, Scars to find out more.
Do you know the reason behind Saber’s sudden retirement?
Yes. Saber retired because uni and irl was just getting in the way. She wasn’t gonna have much free time so she thought it was best to retire and took it upon herself to retire.
What impact did Saber have on PIC during her time as leader?
Saber was our rep in CPA and CPAJ, so we’re gonna have to switch that. But also, Saber provided lots of valuable insight and was able to guide us. Saber was also very active and helpful when it came to diplomacy and working with our allies and other armies.
What kind of impact do you think her retirement will have on the army?
Even though Saber is gone, we’ve been doing a lot behind the scenes for PIC. We recently brought in Alu and Villa as leaders so I don’t think we’ll fall off (I hope). But anyways, all of us, including our hcom and staff, are extremely dedicated so I don’t expect a sharp decline.
Any final words for the community?
PIC OWNS yay pic
In conclusion, it seems PIC’s leadership will miss Saber, but with the return of Alucard and the induction of Villa, PIC will be stronger than ever. What do you think? Will Saber return to leadership in the future? How will her departure affect the army?
