In the summer of 2014, Revan and Buddy merged their efforts into the reopened Water Vikings, where Revan became a leader. Shortly thereafter, WV declared war on Special Weapons and Tactics, marking another high point in his career. Revan eventually left the Water Vikings, due to a lack of inspiration while leading the army.
After departing from the Water Vikings, Revan joined the Light Troops as a Fourth in Command. Over time, he climbed the ranks to 2ic, serving as a key figure in the army’s leadership during this era. In June 2014, Sidie9 invited Revan to co-lead the Marines, which they successfully rebuilt into the most prominent generation in its history. The Marines achieved sizes of 30+ and triumphed in multiple wars, but internal challenges and member departure eventually led to the army’s closure.
Revan then returned to the Air Force under the leadership of Zeer and Mkll. Facing difficulties, the army quickly rebounded under Revan’s guidance, reaching sizes of 20+ once more. However, his journey came full circle when he rejoined the Light Troops during their final generation, staying with them until their closure.
Throughout 2015, Revan continued to hop between various armies, including Light Troops, Marines, and even a brief stint as a leader of the Pretzels. After retiring for a few months, he returned to Light Troops toward the end of 2015. In January 2016, Revan and Epic101 revived the Fire Warriors, quickly ascending to the number one spot on the Club Penguin Army Central Top Tens during its first event back. Afterwards, Revan moved between armies until retiring once more, this time before Club Penguin’s closure in 2017.
Revan’s story took another turn when his longtime friend Aaronstone reached out to offer him an opportunity to return. Revan accepted graciously, rejoining the Water Vikings and alongside Shinde, Aaron and Fedd, reestablished them as a force to be reckoned with. Despite another failed Ninjas rebellion that resulted in a two-year ban, Aaronstone once again pardoned Revan, allowing him to return to the Water Vikings. He reclaimed his old position on the High Council, continuing to shape the army’s legacy.
To hear more from him, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Revan for an exclusive interview.
What accomplishment are you most proud of in your long career?
I think I’m most proud of just constantly being able to rebel from WV and then being let back in again. jk I think my best accomplishment has been getting S/M legend and leading Water Vikings to 70+. It was something I’ve always wanted to do ever since I joined armies to be given something that keeps my name on a page forever and to lead a huge number of people is just a great feeling.
If you could go back and change anything, would you?
I would change the way I treated some people. I feel I let some people down, I didn’t show some people the respect I should of which I regret. So yes If I could go back I would change the way I approached different situations and given people the respect the deserved so If anyone who is reading this does feel I’ve done them wrong at some point know I am sorry.
What qualities do you believe are most important for effective leadership in any community?
Pay attention to your troops, understand them and their quirks, understand their culture and differences it will help you a lot when trying to deal with internal conflicts in an army which will always occur. It will also help you understand what events your troops enjoy so that the event becomes fun to them and not just about attending for promotion or helping you just get size for top 10.
Can you share a moment from your career that you believe defined you as a person?
For all my thinking to this question I cannot come to a conclusion. I think i’ll leave the answer to this question to the people who know me and let their own moments with me define me in their own ways
What advice would you give to someone new to leadership who wants to make a meaningful impact?
The only meaningful impact you can make is to your own army the greater community is doomed and divided and set in their ways to never evolve. Break into the scene make noise with war as club penguin armies were originally intended for and make a legacy for your army through victory and make the changes you want in your own army and if others follows it’s just a added benefit.
Revan has certainly been around a lot and has made his mark in the community. But what do you think? Was his time in armies well-spent? What do you think of his achievements? Which army did he perform best in?
