32op‘s army journey sparked in the Doritos of Club Penguin, where he joined in 2012 with unstable activity. While in the army, he would leave the army every few months for inactivity until 2016. During this phase, he would reach the position of Leader in Training multiple times, all without reaching a leadership position. This ended in December 2016, when he attained leadership in the army. Unfortunately, his leadership was short-lived as Club Penguin shut down in March 2017.

As the Club Penguin Private Server era of armies spiked in activity, 32op was heavily involved in the revival of the Doritos. He, alongside co-leaders Mustapha10, Alfrondo1465, and Freezie66 announced the return of the army on November 28, 2019. Their successful opening was the beginning of many heights. He led the Doritos throughout many wars and battles, defeating alliances such as The Warrior Alliance. Under the leadership of 32op, the Doritos maintained their reputation as a dominant CPPS major army. His remarkable efforts as a leader came to an end when he retired on July 18, 2020, to focus on other aspects of the community.

Aside from his extraordinary efforts in leadership with the Doritos, 32op excelled in his contributions to army leagues as well. This began with his involvement with the Top Ten calculations in the Club Penguin Online Army League alongside his leadership. Following his retirement, his involvement in the league increased, soaring through the many positions in the league. His solid reputation in the army community eventually gained him the Board of Directors position in the league. His influence shifted to the Club Penguin Army League, where he had the same position. With contributions to Club Penguin Army Media, he was able to attain the position of Executive Producer. With this, 32op was able to help establish a unified army league, the Club Penguin Army Hub. 32op currently advises the Secret Service and holds the position of Board of Directors in CPAL.

Achievements

Doritos Era

32op remained loyal to the Doritos throughout his impactful army campaign. His first major achievement in the army was leading Doritos to their first tournament victory in Christmas Chaos VI in 2016. During his pre-CPPS leadership, he emerged victorious in a war against the Rebel Penguin Federation. 32op also led the Doritos to the quarter-finals of the 2017 Legends Cup tournament. He also witnessed the Doritos host their final event on the original Club Penguin, with a max of 70 penguins.

Following the revival in 2019, many great achievements awaited the Doritos as 32op pioneered them to greatness. In their first tournament since their revival, Christmas Chaos IX, he led them to victory with sizes of 100 penguins online. He then proceeded to wage wars against the Ice Warriors and the Dark Warriors, in The Warrior Alliance in 2020. Afterwards, the Doritos successfully won a war against the Pirates. In the March Madness tournament, the Doritos were victorious against IW, where the community witnessed the largest-ever battle, with over 150 penguins in attendance.

Despite the setbacks that came with altercations with admins of Club Penguin Online, 32op alongside his co-leaders maintained a strong front for the army. The Doritos held the #1 position in the Top Ten armies for 16 weeks straight, from November 2019 to April 2020. Following the aforementioned altercations, the Doritos resumed operations on April 19, maxing 100 in their return event. After a few more weeks of great performance from the army, the Doritos made history. On May 17, they hosted their first event on an army-run CPPS.

This event marked a turning point in 32op’s leadership. The next months saw the Doritos invade the Dark Bandits and Pirates. They even declared war on the Help Force after losing to them in that year’s Legends Cup. After two successful invasions against the Help Force, peace was restored between the two armies. Two months later, following the closure of Club Penguin Armies: The Game, 32op, and the Doritos began using the new army-run CPPS – CPArmies. They also hosted their first event on NewCP, maxing a respectable 55 troops. 32op’s tenure came to an end on July 18, two days after the Black Ice Alliance invaded the army.

Club Penguin Armies approached 32op to discover what his most memorable moments were during his army journey.

What would you say is your most memorable moment throughout your army journey?

My most memorable moment in CPA was when DCP came back onto CPO in 2019. I started off as a leader with Mustapha10 and Freezie. With Freezie leaving for DW and Mustapha being busy with IRL commitments, I stepped into the main leader role for the first time in my home army. It felt surreal, I was leading the very army that had been my home since childhood. It was a full-circle moment that I never imagined would happen.

What fueled your motivation to reach the heights you have so far?

I joined DCP when I was a kid and I was really intrigued by the idea of having my name be apart of the legends page. After achieving that, I wanted to create an environment where others could connect, make friends, and have fun, just like I did growing up in the army. It’s that desire to help others find the same joy that kept me going.

Looking back to your journey, is there anything you wish you could’ve changed in the past?

I don’t have anything I would change, I definitely made some mistakes but those are part of the journey. If I had to change one thing, it would be focusing more on DCP than on Media in Summer 2020.

Are there any specific tournaments/battles that you cherish the most?

The March Madness 2020 tournament on CPO was incredibly fun. It was during the peak of covid, so we had a great amount of DCP veterans return and we were recruiting thousands of people weekly. It was incredibly hectic with how fast we were growing but it was an amazing experience to see veterans from across the years unite with the new generation of troops, all working together toward the single goal of winning the tournament.

How would you advise the aspiring leaders of the future to achieve long-term success and influence in the army community?

Definitely have fun with it. It’s important to create an environment where people feel genuine joy and pride in being a part of the army. Leading an army where troops can make friendships and feel connected is the foundation of being successful. When people enjoy what they’re doing and feel like they belong, the community will thrive naturally, and that’s what will keep the army going strong for years to come.

32op’s influential presence, strategic insight, and dedication have made a lasting impact on the Club Penguin army community. His leadership across various armies and his role in shaping army strategy have left a powerful legacy. What stands out the most about 32op’s approach to leadership? How do you think his legacy will influence the next generation of leaders?
