The Templars have dropped to small/medium status for the second time this year. The future of the knights is in question as they try to reclaim major status yet again.

Since 2023, the Templars have fallen to small/medium status several times. On June 4th 2023, the Templars lost their major status following the retirement of their creator Xing earlier that year. The Knights reclaimed their major status less than two months later, using World War IX and Legends Cup XIII to bolster activity.
The Templars dropped to small/medium status again in late June 2024, while at war with Special Weapons and Tactics. This time they recovered their major status in just one month, using Legends Cup XIV hype to rebuild their strength.

Since then, the Templars have participated in several wars. On August 18th 2024, the Templars declared war on the Help Force shortly after the end of HF’s war with the People’s Imperial Confederation. The war ended one week later with no official winner.
Immediately after the end of this war, the Templars received a declaration of war from the Secret Service. This war also lasted around a week before the Templars surrendered to the Secret Service. At this point, the Templars were suffering from a large drop in size. They sometimes struggled to max 20 when just a week earlier they were maxing 30.

The Knights managed to get by for several weeks, but they could not escape the September drop, falling to small/medium status on September 22nd. For three weeks before this, the Templars averaged around 15 size points on the Top Tens, less than the 20 required to maintain major status.
The Templars have fallen to small/medium status several times, and previously they have always bounced back. Club Penguin Armies interviewed Templars’ leader, Mocha, to find out how the Knights plan to recover.
What do you think was the main cause of this drop?
The main cause of our drop was school and almost everyone being busy with irl things. During the past few weeks I’ve been getting DMs from a few staff and troops telling me that they were getting really busy with things
How are you going to regain major status?
It’s gonna be a bit tough right now but as long as we push our recruiting, registering, and our sizes we can definitely regain major.
How long do you think it will take to regain major status? Will it be as fast as previous times?
It will take some time that’s for sure but with the right amount of motivation we can hope to get it within a month. I don’t know if it will be as fast as the previous time, but we are determined to regain major once again.
The Templars are hopeful that they can bounce back like they have done in the past. With September coming to an end, the Templars have an opportunity to rebuild. Do you think that the Templars will rise back to major? How long will it take them? What do they need to do to make it happen?
