Army Background

Orange’s army journey started in 2012 when he logged onto the original Club Penguin. He spawned in the middle of a battle between the Army of Club Penguin and the Nachos, who were at war at the time. Although Orange wasn’t familiar with what was occurring, one thing he did know was that his favorite color was not orange but green. Because of this, he decided to enlist in ACP and joined their Xat.

Throughout Orange’s time as a Clover under Army Legend and Chief Executive Producer Mchappy’s leadership, he made multiple friends within the community. He became a regular army member, continuously being present in the Clovers’ Xat chats.

While in ACP, Orange discovered another army that piqued his interest called Chaos. He decided to join this army in September 2012, becoming a dual enlist as a Clover and a member of Chaos. Throughout his time in both armies, Orange was committed to both and started rising up the ranks quickly. As he rose through the ranks as a Clover staff member, he was also advancing in Chaos. Due to his ambitious personality and hard work, he was promoted to Chaos leader in December 2012. He continued to maintain his staff rank in ACP.

However, as time went on, Orange decided it was time to leave behind his first army, ACP, in July 2012. By leaving the Clovers, he was able to focus more on leading Chaos until he decided to retire in August 2013.

Between 2013 and 2014, Orange was on and off with his involvement in the army community and leading Chaos. He finally decided to rejoin in October 2014, but this time in another army called the Water Ninjas. Throughout his time in the Water Ninjas, Orange was able to showcase his commitment and perseverance. As a result, he quickly rose through the ranks and attained a leadership position in early December 2014. After a few months, he then decided to retire from WN in March 2015.

In 2015, Orange decided to experience different armies and one of them was the Special Weapons and Tactics. Within his leadership in SWAT, Orange was able to get the army to the second spot on the Top Ten for Club Penguin Army Central. After leading SWAT for a couple of months, Orange moved to the Army Republic, where he had a brief stint. He had then decided to retire in the summer of 2015

In 2016, Orange decided to return to the army community to help revive Chaos for its second generation. Under his leadership, he took the army to unprecedented heights. They secured the number one placement on the Top Ten for CPAC. This was one of his most significant accomplishments in 2016. Additionally, he decided to lead the Golds in the fall of that year. He took them to the top five placement on TT for CPAC.

Orange quickly gained recognition and attention for his leadership skills, leading to his induction as a Small/Medium Army Legend at the end of 2016. After getting inducted, Orange took a break from armies. However in 2020, former Chaos leaders Wyo and S/M Army Legend Owl encouraged him to return to the community when they decided to revive Chaos. After hearing the news, Orange accepted the offer and returned to the army community after four years of retirement.

This time while leading Chaos, Orange spearheaded World War Rewritten against the Rebel Penguin Federation. Despite the Rebels being a stronger army, Chaos claimed victory as the underdogs. Not only did Chaos claim victory against the Rebels, but they also ended up reaching a max of 65 on Club Penguin Rewritten. After reaching achieving this max, Chaos decided to shut down the army.

Although Chaos shut down, this did not stop Orange from wanting to help another army. Orange decided to rejoin the Clovers for a short time in May 2020; however, he chose to leave in July 2020 to join the Ice Warriors. When joining IW, he accepted the rank of Second-in-Command. Orange was known to be one of the most strongest recruiters. With his extroverted personality, he constantly made friends with new troops and enhanced their journey in the Ice Warriors. Due to his consistent hard work, Orange earned a promotion to Leader in Training in August 2020. After four months, Orange was then promoted to leader of the Ice Warriors.

Under Orange’s leadership in the Ice Warriors, the army won March Madness VI in 2021 against ACP. Not only did Orange lead IW to victory in March Madness VI, but under his leadership, the army also reached a max size of 100. After these accomplishments, Orange had then decided to retire during April of 2021.

League Era

Throughout Orange’s army career, he established himself as a key founder and admin of several influential leagues. He served as an Executive Producer for Small Medium Army Press in 2015, took on the role of Admin for Club Penguin Army Hub in 2020, and helped form Club Penguin Army Headquarters in January 2021. Additionally, Orange helped create Club Penguin Army Network in 2021 and on July 2022 he was became one of the founders and admins of Club Penguin Armies. Currently, Orange serves as an Advisor for CPA and is a Legend Committee Head.

After recognizing that Orange is clearly one of the largest icons in Club Penguin Armies, we decided to reach out to him to learn more about his experience in armies.

What introduced you to Club Penguin armies and kept you engaged?

Back in 2012 when I was a little child, I went to play Club Penguin and when I loaded up one of the servers, I spawned in the middle of a battle between ACP and Nachos during one of their wars. My favorite color is green so I sided with ACP and i looked up Army of Club Penguin because that’s what the penguins kept saying. I quickly found the website and xat and from there that’s how I joined. Funny enough, the ACP leader at the time was actually Mchappy. What made me stay in the community was all the friends I was making. The army aspect was really on the side, as I mainly logged on to xat everyday to talk to my friends and hang out

Do you think your time in armies will remain valuable for a lifetime?

Yeah definitely. I feel like I made a lot of friends that Imma continue talking to for a long time. Especially in the past 4 years since rediscovering the community. I spend a lot of time on VC and in chats with my friends and we talk a lot about irl stuff and I don’t see that ending any time soon.

I will also say, armies did teach me a lot of skills that I use today in life and at work haha such as dealing with difficult people, being a respected leader, making tough decisions, and many more. A lot of people don’t realize it, but armies definitely help with important life skills that you can use when you are older

As an onlooker, how are you feeling outside armies?

As someone who’s been on the outside for about 3 years now, I do think the community has shockingly improved a lot. It’s crazy to see all the successful armies and the quantity of armies performing this well compared to the past couple years. These current sizes are even greater than some of those last couple years in Disney era cpa. Personally, the league has certain rules chosen by the army board that I wouldn’t agree with, but if the present army leaders make decisions on what modern cpa is supposed to look like, then it’s their word. I’m not too involved with that aspect, but I am always here for any advice on decision making they need. I can see the community lasting well for a very long time

Do you think you left the army community at the right time and in the right way?

Yeah definitely. The last two things I wanted to do in the community was lead a legendary major army and win one of the big 3 tournaments. I was fortunate to have the oppurtunity to lead the Ice Warriors as well as win March Madness. Retiring at the time I did was great for my personal life as well as I began to have some of the greatest times of my life frfr. If I could do it over again, I wouldn’t change anything

What are the most memorable moments you cherished during your tenure in armies?

The two want to talk about is when Chaos got 1st on CPAC and obtaining leader in IW, eventually being inducted into the HOF.

Chaos was one of the armies I was able to build from the ground up with a lot of people I consider my best friends. And when we were finally able to get first on CPAC, it was the best achievement I had in this community. Not a lot of people can say that they build an army from the ground up and achieved 1st, so I am glad I am one of the very few who did that.

Getting leader in IW was also one of my most memorable moments bc my entire time in this community, it was always ACP, IW, and Nachos being the big three and I felt that I could definitely get leader in one of those armies and being able to make a positive impact. I ended up joining IW due to all the friends I had over there and eventually got leader and got inducted into the HOF as legend. Those guys such as Iceyfeet and Madhav believed in me and gave me the opportunity to lead one of the most legendary armies so that moment will always be memorable to me.

Overall, we can identify Orange as one of the most influential members of the army community. Notably, the efforts put in during his army career have inspired many other figures in the community. Despite his retirement, Orange continues to make an effort to remain in touch with the community. Certainly, Orange must have felt nostalgic about reiterating memories of his past. What has been your memorable moment with Orange?
