Welcome back to Behind The Scenes, the column where we delve into the day-to-day life of a community member. In this edition, we will explore the life of Aurora, a reporter, to find out who she is behind the scenes.

Aurora joined the Pirates in 2019, before leaving to join the Help Force. After being banned from Club Penguin Online, she hopped around between several armies, before ending up in the Rebel Penguin Federation. Aurora then dual-enlisted in the Army of Club Penguin and Lime Green Army.
Following her ban from RPF, she worked her way up the ranks in ACP, reaching fourth in command before retiring. She earned Recruiter of the Week numerous times, and in December 2021, she became a Dedicated Officer.

In March 2023, she joined the Water Vikings, quickly making a name for herself through recruiting. As she did in ACP, Aurora continued to earn Recruiter of the Week several times, eventually becoming the first recipient of the Recruiter’s Ribbon.

On September 8th, 2023, she returned to ACP as part of the High Command. She continued to be a dedicated recruiter and stuck with the Clovers for half a year, before eventually retiring. She is currently not enlisted in any armies.

Alongside her work in various armies, Aurora is also a reporter for Club Penguin Armies. She joined the team on May 20th, 2024 and has written several posts, mostly for the Army Rivalries and Picture Perfect columns. Aurora is also busy studying in college while looking after her cat, Buffy.
Aurora has been in the community for a long time, but she also has a life outside of the army community. Club Penguin Armies interviewed Aurora to find out who she is behind the scenes.
What hobbies do you have outside of CPA?
I watch TV shows like Supernatural and The Mentalist. I also have been bowling for years and bowl in league.
What made you choose to become a reporter?
I wanted to improve my writing and become more confident in my writing ability.
How does being retired compare to being staff?
I have more free time than when I was a staff member in ACP and WV.
Do you have any pets?
I have a 12 year old cat named Buffy that my family has had since 2012.

What goals do you have for this year?
I plan to move up to the reporting ranks while completing my classes I need to graduate college by next spring.
