On Sunday, four armies will compete in the semi-finals of Legends Cup XIV. Two armies will advance to the Winner’s Final, competing for a spot in the Grand Finals. As two intense battles are anticipated, we seek the community’s opinion on which armies they predict will emerge victorious.
Numerous intense conflicts were seen last week, as the Legends Cup XIV tournament, played in the Double-Elimination format, witnessed Elite Guardians, Special Weapons & Tactics, Army of Club Penguin, Help Force, People’s Imperial Confederation, Water Vikings, Rebel Penguin Federation and Templars fighting across four different battles. Out of the eight, the Guardians, Helpers, Rebels, and Vikings advanced to the Semi-Finals. The other armies proceeded to the Loser’s Bracket.
This upcoming Sunday will see Rebels and Vikings battling out first, with another battle between the Help Force and Elite Guardians proceeding it. The winners will advance to the Winner’s Finals, while the other two will proceed to Round 2 of the Loser’s Bracket, continuing their fight for redemption.
Club Penguin Armies approached several active individuals in the community, requesting them to present their predictions on the upcoming Semi-Final battles.
Rebel Penguin Federation vs. Water Vikings
The last time these two armies met on the battlefield during a tournament was during the March Madness IX Finals. The Vikings had the upper hand in the battle and were victorious. Since then, the Vikings have experienced a drop, following the retirement of a few of their leaders. This drop has caused them to fall as low as 10th on the Top Ten Armies of Month: June 2024. Therefore this battle may differ from the one in March Madness, with the Vikings trying to beat the Rebels yet again.
Ugly, ACP Leader [RPF 3-0-0]: RPF’s battle performance is extraordinary and even with a size disadvantage they manage to beat armies. I think WV will find it hard gaining a size advantage on RPF therefore I think the battle will go towards RPF 3-0-0.
Mogi4, CPA Moderator [RPF 1-0-2] NGL I do believe that RPF will take the win for this one as for round one both armies maxed around the same sizes, but I predict RPF will max higher than WV this time as WV’s sizes don’t seem too promising considering they just dropped to S/M but who knows, it might depend on how many vets attend for each army. I do think RPF has better speed but also WV has creativity. Idk, it’s gonna be a really interesting battle but only because WV just dropped to S/M then RPFs sizes are more promising, which is why im gonna say RPF 1-0-2.
FunXTime, SWAT Leader: The Rebels have been showing continued effort for a prolonged time. The Legends Cup is not the only tournament they can excel. On the other hand, the Water Vikings are equally strong too, and they have brought veterans to help bag wins at tournaments! This competition is worth drawing, so I do not firmly predict a specific winner.
Kobi, PIC HCOM [1-1-1 TIE]: RPF has been placed on the Top 10 for the longest time on the Top 5 part and are very capable on fighting but I feel like they would also tie against WV so yeah lmfao
Elite Guardians vs. Help Force
Both armies have not fought each other recently outside of an unjudged practice battle. Due to the vast veteran bases and active troops in both armies, it is expected to be a fierce battle. Since there has been no recent competition between these two, predicting the outcome will be difficult. While both armies usually hold close positions in the Top Ten Armies, the Elite Guardians won the previous tournament, the Around the World Cup, making them a major opponent in the tournament.
Ugly, ACP Leader [HF 2-1-1]: I believe this will be a close battle between the two armies and ultimately who will have the slight size or covering advantage. There’s no clear pick here and I think the battle will go to a distance so I’ll say HF 2-1-1 [OT].Mogi4, CPA Moderator [HF 2-0-1] Right so EGCP did win the most recent tournament which was the Around The World Cup, but HF did max 56 last week so this is again going to be a super close and interesting battle omg cant wait. BUT EGCP did only reach sizes of around 24 in round one SO I believe HF will take the win for this one, HF 2-0-1.
Where’s my opinion?
