Confederation Announces April Ambush Victory

After winning six battles, the People’s Imperial Confederation went into their seventh with one objective in mind, to win the war. Following this battle, a treaty was signed seeing both parties agree to end hostilities.

On March 27th, the People’s Imperial Confederation declared war on the Penguins of Madagascar. It came as a shock to many because of PIC’s recent rise to major army status. However, they stated that the war was not personal and that both would be similar in size on CPA Battleground. They hoped to increase their maxes on the CPPS by warring with the Penguins. The Penguins, on the other hand, thought the war was an April Fools’ joke but soon found out the reality of the situation. At this point, the April Ambush war was underway.

The first battle took place on April 1st, also known as April Fools’ Day. This gave POM all the more reason to think that the war was a joke. In what was a close battle, PIC managed to show their dominance, sweeping all three rooms. This winning mentality from PIC did not waver from here. They went on to sweep the battle on April 2nd and the first (Ausia) battle on April 3rd. The US battle on April 3rd saw a change in the tides as the battle saw the Penguins try to change the narrative. However, they were only able to secure a tie in the second room as PIC took both the first and last room wins.

The first battle on April 5th saw POM slow down and withdraw from a battle halfway through, giving PIC the win. The second battle, once again, saw PIC dominate with clean forms, counter-tactics and a speed advantage. The seventh battle of the war took place yesterday, on April 6th, but what went down during this fight?

Room 1 – People’s Imperial Confederation

In the first room, PIC entered first, starting from where they left off in the previous battles. To begin, the sizes were 8-5 in favour of PIC, but POM was seen to have AFK troops. Throughout the room, PIC created clean formations and defended well against the Penguins. The size difference increased in the room with the sizes being 9-4, with PIC still holding the advantage. Later in the room, the battle saw a fight for the chat bar line as PIC entered an L and POM entered a horizontal on the chat bar. Yet, POM were covered by PIC. This only helped them to secure the win in the first room with little difficulty. Therefore, PIC was determined as the winner of room 1.

Room 2 – People’s Imperial Confederation

Much like the first room of the battle, the Confederation were the first to enter. By the time POM entered the room, PIC had bombed and formed an upside-down T formation. This left them with a disadvantage in the room because of their speed. To try and combat PIC’s form, they created a vertical line. However, the sizes were still 9-4 with PIC holding the size advantage. Despite their efforts, POM was not able to gain the upper hand, leading them to bomb into a / formation. PIC then bombed before creating a T which saw them maintain their coverage and dominant form. POM improved during the latter stages of the room, countering PICs upside-down V with a diagonal. However, they were no match for PIC’s size and speed. Therefore, PIC won room 2.

Room 3 – People’s Imperial Confederation

Room 3 saw PIC continue from the previous room, entering first and using their size to their advantage. As POM formed a diagonal, PIC formed a backwards L. It was noted, once again, that POM was covered by the Confederation. This result was only repeated throughout the rest of the room as both armies exchanged forms but PIC were able to cover. Therefore, due to their size, speed and tactics, PIC was determined the winner of this room and the entire battle.

Following this battle, the Confederation released a post, declaring themselves as the winners of the April Ambush war. Within the post, PIC stated that they approached POM with a treaty, however, they stalled in negotiations. This led the Confederation to act and declare themselves as the winners of the war. Following the post, POM agreed to the treaty. This saw hostilities between the two armies end.

‘April Agreement’ Treaty

Both armies have acknowledged that PIC is the winner of the April Ambush war. Additionally, both armies agreed to peace until June 6th. It is unknown where the two armies will go from here. However, they both certainly have an opportunity to learn and grow following the war’s ending. Will we see PIC and POM go to war again after the treaty expires? Will POM use their experience and grow as an army from here? Does the ending of the April Ambush war satisfy PIC or are they still hungry for success?
