The Templars’ official launch in 2018 marked the start of their adventure in the CPA community. Regardless of their contentious past, the army has accomplished numerous milestones. Let us delve deeper into their history, organization, achievements, and traditions.
Army Legend Xing founded the Templars on April 4th, 2018. The army went through countless battles, competitions, and even scandals. However, they managed to grow to become one of the most remarkable armies in the Club Penguin Pirate Server era. The Templars went on to engage in their first war just eleven days after their establishment. Dubbed the “First Great Holy War”, the Templars fought against the Elite Guardians for a week but ultimately lost the war. Internal problems caused the army to close shortly after, and it reopened on July 4th, 2018.
Within three days of their resurgence, the Templars were at war once more. Allying with their former enemies to defeat a common target, both armies composed the Red Dawn Alliance during World War VII. After a month of raids and invasions, the alliance emerged victorious against the Rebel Penguin Federation. Since then, the knights have engaged in innumerable battles against various armies, including the Army of Club Penguin, Lime Green Army, Help Force, and many more.
The Templars also took part in a great number of tournaments over the years, making it to their first finals with the Christmas Chaos VIII in 2018. Since then, they kept on participating in competitions. However, it was only in 2022 that the Templars won their first trophies. Hence the Knights won the 2022 New Year Bonanza against three armies, and the Legends Cup XII against the Water Vikings.
Throughout history, the Templars have fought bravely in numerous conflicts and championships. They were also victorious in many conflicts in the past, such as some Holy Wars, and the War of Imperial Succession. This is impossible without a strong HCOM team and dedicated troops.
In light of this, the Club Penguin Armies reached out to the Templar Empress, Dawnables, to hear what she had to say:
Can you describe the daily life of a Templar? What games do they play, what special events do they attend, and what unique ceremonies do they attend? Additionally, how does their performance during battles tie into these routines and events?
In Templars, we hold fun events during our free time periods and enjoy time in chat. We give out medals for our bigger events and hold celebrations for our major anniversaries. Within battles, we remain prepared at our core and grow our army with our relationships and consistency in reaching out to troops.
How does the Templar leadership handle conflicts within their community? And what measures are taken to promote leadership growth among the ranks?
We don’t really have many conflicts within our army, but whenever they do arise, it depends on the severity and impact on the performance of the Templars. We push all our troops to make it a goal to become a Grand Prior and enjoy the fun of being a leader and being able to make your own decisions.
What does the Templars leadership do to maintain morale, hype, and enthusiasm among army members, especially during challenging times or low activity periods?
During our VCs, we make sure to have fun and talk to our troops while we’re rallying into the chat. When it’s hard, it’s obviously really hard to stay awake and motivated, but we as a leadership team always make an effort to keep this army as successful as it has been.
Lastly, could you share a favorite memory from your time in Templars?
My favorite memory is probably when me, Nicky, and Moon had just become a trio and we were working our asses off to rebuild the army, and at some point our events just became chaotic and made me laugh every time. I enjoy the chaos that comes from people being hyped up and ready for battles, and those moments are my key memories of leading Templars.
It is clear from their history that they are a force to be reckoned with. Furthermore, from the interview, it is possible to learn that the Templars possess a well-organized structure. Certainly, these are their secret to success. What will the future hold for them?
