Clovers Conclude Ally Week

Over the last two weeks, the Army of Club Penguin hosted an Ally Week consisting of a series of practice battles. The occasion ended with a massive 5-way battle between the Clovers and its allies.

Following Ugly’s induction as Commander in Chief, the Army of Club Penguin hosted an ‘Ally Week’, spanning over 2 weeks, dedicated to their allies, the Help Force, Templars, Rebel Penguin Federation, and Peoples’ Imperial Confederation. The weeks consisted of practice battles with each of their allies. Following these practice battles, fun activities would take place.

To start, ACP fought the Rebels on February 7th, in a three-room practice battle. Despite the battle being held for fun, judges were called to judge the event. After the intense battle between the two, they decided to host a Cart Surfer competition. Ultimately, the Clovers proved to be better in combat than they are underground. The Rebels grabbed first, second, and third place in the cart-surfing contest, whilst ACP snagged the battle victory in the 3rd room of the battle.

Following on from this, the Clovers went on to face their brother allies, the Help Force, on February 10th. The two armies held a judged practice battle with a game being held after the event. After 3 rooms of intense battling, the judges decided that both armies deserved to win, declaring it as a tie. Afterwards, the brothers played a fun game of hide-seek, with both armies enjoying the challenge/game.

On February 11th, ACP battled the Templars in a two-room unjudged practice battle. During the battle, both armies fought valiantly against each other. However, there was no winner of the battle. After the battle took place, the allies competed in a Hydro Hopper contest. It saw members of both armies competing to come out on top to enable their army to take the win. The contest was close, with ACP securing first place, and TCP securing second and third.

Four days after their battle with the Templars, on February 15th, the Clovers planned a practice battle with PIC, who unfortunately could not attend. Instead of a battle, ACP decided to host a training event to prepare for the 5-way battle at the end of the week.

On the 17th, the final day of the ally-themed weeks, ACP hosted a 5-way battle with all their allies. The battle was fought across two rooms, with each room looking like a homogenous blob of penguins. At the end of the battle, each ally had a chance to lead, allowing for neater formations as the armies worked together.

5-way Battle between ACP and their Allies

Club Penguin Armies interviewed ACP Commander, Ugly, to investigate the importance of Ally Week.

What inspired you to host an ally week?

I had an idea in mind to host a themed week right after my induction as leader, and after time I came up with that as I really wanted to have something special around all our allies.

How did your troops feel about the week?

I’m betting a lot thought the last battle was chaotic to be honest lol, which is understandable. Other than that the battles and fun games we had with our allies saw a lot of good feedback considering we haven’t done something like this before.

What was the most difficult part of organising the week?

Finding the right time with each army, especially the last battle. Of course I had to reach out early, even then we had some communication problems but at the end I was glad everything went mostly smooth.

Why is Ally Week important?

To bring unity and fun between each army which I wanted to show through the 5 way battle we’ve had, as at the end each army led all the armies at one point making us all looked united and as one, which was the point of the ally week(s) from the start.

Do you see your army hosting another Ally Week in the future?

Definitely looking forward to it.

Club Penguin Armies also interviewed staff members from the allied armies to gain a deeper understanding of Ally Week. Unfortunately, PIC was unable to provide a response.

Did you enjoy the battle with ACP and the 5-way battle?

Beasto – HF High Command: I did enjoy it very much, I think the forms we made looked so beautiful as well!

Whjfa – TCP High Command: I did enjoy the battle with ACP and the 5-way battle it was fun

Link – RPF Leader: I really enjoyed the 5-way battle. I find unique battle styles (mainly when the stakes aren’t that high lmao) to be quite fun, similar to the New Year Bonanza. It was extremely chaotic with 5 armies at once, but again, it was very enjoyable, I personally had a lot of fun.

How important is your alliance with ACP?

Beasto – HF High Command: It is very important, I also think its is the longest lasting alliances so far, and I think it will go on for a long time, the Clovers and the Helpers are strong as one!

Whjfa – TCP High Command: Well for the important is with ACP is good

Link – RPF Leader: The alliance with ACP has been very positive so far, especially since it was created at the time it was created, after a major war against them. I feel like we’ve both been able to create some fun memories, moments and one-of-a-kind situations (like the 5 way battle, or the first ever battle on CPJ etc.) but also I feel like it’s benefited both armies as well. They are an ally we know we can count on and I hope the feeling’s the same.

Allies are really important to ACP, and their dedication to hosting an Ally Week is proof of that. It appears that ACP cares for its allies, who also care for it. But do all armies need allies? What do you think about the importance of allies? Should armies host more events with their allies?
