First place: AustinFraud (54 votes)
Second place: Fitsuki (45 votes)
Third place: Calgocubs21 (30 votes)
According to the community’s predictions, the title of the Best Major Army Leader was awarded to the leader of ACP, following their win in the previous category. AustinFraud has been at the helm of the Army of Club Penguin for eight months, and made quite the name for himself. Since summer, his army secured victory in the Trick or Treat Trials, and kept the community active by engaging in wars, as well as hosting community wide events. MOST TACTICAL ARMY
First place: Army of Club Penguin (83 votes)
Second place: Elite Guardians (55 votes)
Third place: Water Vikings (26 votes)
The Most Tactical Army Award is more than just about the size or how often an army engages in wars. It’s about the ability to fight effectively and emerge victorious, and this description certainly fits the Army of Club Penguin. They participated in five conflicts this year, securing victory in four and tying one. Additionally, their impressive performance in tournaments, including winning Legends Cup XIII, cannot be overlooked. ACP’s skillful and battle-experienced leaders have rightfully earned this award for their army.
~ Wynn
Vendetta award (best tactical leader)
First place: AustinFraud (60 votes)
Second place: Fitsuki (44 votes)
Third place: Coolguy (25 votes)
Considering that the ACP won the Most Tactical Army, it only makes sense that their more vocal Commander in Chief is rewarded with the Vendetta Award. AustinFraud continues to innovate on the battlefield, but on top of that, his can-do attitude is what helps propel AustinFraud as a leader that stands out.

bluesockwa award (biggest influence)
First place: Calgocubs21 (88 votes)
Second place: RammLass (52 votes)
Third place: Dino and Sidie9 (13 votes)
It is without a doubt that Calgocubs21 has been one of the most influential voices of the season, if not the year in general. Retiring in early October, Calgocubs21 stayed in the foreground as a voice that advocated for what he believed to be morally right. Many listen to his call and, for that, he has earned himself the Bluesockwa Award.
~Mchappy
csy award (best ausia empire)
First place: Army of Club Penguin (92 votes)
Second place: Water Vikings (31 votes)
Third place: Help Force (18 votes)
Almost fitting that the Army of Club Penguin wins the CSY Award. Week after week, the Army of Club Penguin proves that having a powerful AUSIA can be unmatched. This season, they had AustinFraud who was able to put more focus into the division. Their success has been rewarded with this trophy.
~Mchappy
BEST HIGHER COMMAND
First place: Zoomey (64 votes)
Second place: Bigabau (54 votes)
Third place: Chey (16 votes)
An army’s success can’t only be accredited to its leader. It’s the high command that spends tremendous efforts on serving their army day and night, being the right hand of its leader. Despite them being often unrecognized and underappreciated, an army can’t exist without higher command. It only seemed fitting that this award goes to Zoomey, Army of Club Penguin’s Second in Command, who has played a significant role in ACP’s achievements.

First place: Calgocubs21 (87 votes)
Second place: Joshep52 (52 votes)

underdog award (biggest rise)
First place: Water Vikings (47 votes)
Second place: Help Force (42 votes)
Third place: Templars (39 votes)
Going into Christmas Chaos XIII, the Water Vikings were considered widely to be an easy out either at the hands of the Army of Club Penguin or Help Force. However, the Vikings proved everyone wrong by going on a victory streak, not losing a single room, and winning the entire tournament. For that reason, the Water Vikings truly earned their trophy.
~Mchappy
BEST CONFLICT
First place: Christmas Crusade (131 votes)
Second place: Elite Guardians versus Special Weapons and Tactics (56 votes)
This conflict, known as the Christmas Crusade, is an ongoing conflict. Following the Most Controversial Moment, armies formed an alliance called the United Front Alliance to take on the Elite Guardians in an epic war that occurred over holiday break. It is still to be seen how long the conflict will go on for now that Christmas Chaos XIII has concluded.
~Mchappy
best tournament
First place: Christmas Chaos XIII (129 votes)
Second place: Trick or Treat Trials (36 votes)
Third place: Double Deck the Halls II (21 votes)
The Christmas Chaos XIII, hosted by the Club Penguin Armies organization, received the most votes of all three tournaments held since the summer. It surely comes as no shock, considering it’s also considered by the community to be the second most prestigious tourney of the year. In December, we saw nine armies signing up for the competition. In the end, the Water Vikings were finally able to take it all the way home. It also marked the end of the Rebel Penguin Federation’s winning streak in Christmas Chaos.

MOST CONTROVERSIAL MOMENT
First place: Allegations against Edu14463 and Elite Guardians (78 votes)
Second place: Rebel Penguin Federation’s Christmas Chaos winning streak comes to an end (52 votes)
Third place: The community goes three months without a server map (32 votes)
After a few weeks of peace, the allegations against Elite Guardians and their co-creator, Edu, have shaken the community. Despite the absence of the map, the war seems far from over and has already involved six armies. The fact that the conflict began shortly before the end of the voting process, yet managed to gather the most votes, highlights its significant impact.
~ Wynn
BEST WRITER
First place: Coolguy (57 votes)
Second place: Edu14463 (52 votes)
Third place: Ugly (21 votes)
One of the most underappreciated yet crucial roles in the community is within the media department. The Best Writer Award aims to recognize the efforts of our reporting and editing teams for their contributions over the past months. It comes as no surprise that Editor-in-Chief Coolguy has once again become the winner in this category. His role extends beyond editing others’ posts; he’s also known for his writing talents and for publishing an impressive number of opinion pieces. The CPA hopes this award serves as a proper “thank you” for all your hard work, Coolguy!

Top Ten Committee is a team that cannot operate to its full potential without the help of its members and Ugly is a great examples of that. Since they were selected to be part of the team, they have shown great dedication and eagerness to help out. From making sure their assignments were done correctly and on time, to offering to help out beyond what they were asked to do, helping out pretty much every week, and just overall being extremely dependable staff members. We are glad their hard work has been recognized and we have been very grateful to have them on our team.

outstanding award
The following members are staff at Club Penguin Armies that the administration wanted to give a special shout out. They are hard working individuals that we felt needed to be shouted out as, without them, our organization would not be able to function as well as it does. You are all outstanding for many and different reasons!
~Mchappy
In conclusion, we are very glad to celebrate the end of a super successful winter! Congratulations to all of the winners of the Winter Awards 2023. We’re one of the few leagues in the post-Disney era who have had the pleasure of hosting these awards not just once, but twice. Cheers to many more.
2023 may be over but that does not mean Club Penguin Armies will be slowing down. As we edge into the new year, the true test begins as we deal with the war looming over our heads. However, with our community looking stronger than ever, the administration does not doubt that there is a bright future ahead of us all. Shoutout again to people like Aubz and Master DS who were – and continue to be – essential to putting this all together. And thank you to Dino and Wynn for the help as well!
