NEW FROSTBITE, Water Vikings Capital – Within the past 24 hours, the Water Vikings have seen a whole new tidal wave of leadership. With two leaders retiring, two have stepped up to fill the void. What’s the reasoning behind all these changes?
On February 17th, Water Viking’s leader Revan made a detailed announcement. Within his statement, he shared his thoughts on retirement. He further elaborated that he and Misty would be stepping down from the mantel.

While Revan has an extensive history within the army community, both have had some within the Water Vikings. Revan first joined the community back in 2010. Since then, he’s led multiple armies, such as the Marines, Night Divers, and Pretzels. Being inducted into the various halls of fame, Revan has undoubtedly left his footprint within multiple armies. Revan will continue as a High Council of Vikings member in the Water Vikings.
Misty first joined the community in 2020. Like many, she worked hard and earned the title of Viking Commander on April 27th, 2021. While she left her post as a leader in late June, Misty returned to continue her journey in September.

To learn more about their retirements, the CP Army Headquarters reached out to both Revan and Misty about why they retired and if they had any plans:
Revan: I retired because right now I’m just not able to put 100% into WV, so it’s better if I step back and allow others to take the position where they can be more involved. For now, I’ll stay as a member of the High Council and only intervene where needed or help whenever things start looking serious, such as if they get declared war on, for example.
Misty: I retired cos ya girl’s an entrepreneur now. I may come back once my business has settled, but I’m taking my place as an active advisor for now.
To fill their absence, two new Commanders were appointed. On February 20th, the Vikings promoted Oreo and Pydro to Viking Commander following the retirements of Revan and Misty. While Oreo has spent her entirety in the Water Vikings, Pydro has seen various corners of the community, including the Rebel Penguin Federation and Doritos of CP.
Curious about what these new leaders had to say, the CP Army HQ reached out to both leaders to see how excited they were and to hear about their future plans:
Oreo: Well, I’m very excited to lead with Aaron, Pydro, and Buddy. I want to continue making WV better, both community-wise and army-wise, and hopefully rise in the top ten.
Pydro: Thank you, everyone. I’m very excited to lead WV finally. It’s been a long journey and process, and I plan to help grow WV as an army and reach new heights!

Misty and Revan are exiting leadership, but they plan to continue active roles within the Water Vikings leadership team. It seems Oreo and Pydro are ready to take up the mantel of leadership alongside the current leaders and lead the army to new heights. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us! We wish Pydro, Oreo, and the Water Vikings the best of luck in their future endeavors.
