In a series of unexpected events, journeyman Justin has abruptly retired from the Teutons, a recently returned army. His departure surprises many, forcing the ranks to adjust quickly to the loss of one of their founding members.
BACKGROUND
Justin is a longtime member of the Club Penguin Army since 2012, beginning in Special Weapons and Tactics with Ganger90. He has served in several armies, including the Dark Warriors, Smart Penguins, Ice Warriors, Rebel Penguin Federation, and the Templars, where he was captain from January 2019 until March 2021. He gained expertise, made connections with influential figures, and took part in key events such as returning to the Templars in 2024 to combat the Secret Service and subsequently joining the Rebel Alliance Commando in the War of Spectral Siege, which resulted in a decisive victory for the RACP.
REBUILDING ARMIES
Justin and Logical co-led the Void Troops in 2025, expanding the army and winning fights, albeit they were disqualified from a major tournament due to rule infractions. Later, he became commander of the resurrected Dark Warriors, focusing on strategy, recruitment, and training to reestablish the army’s participation in tournaments and wars. Under his leadership, the Dark Warriors won the Summer Blitz tournament, their first triumph since the army’s rebirth. His goal was to honor prior leaders’ legacies while establishing a strong new generation, and he hoped to restore the Dark Warriors’ competitive status.
The Dark Warriors had declared war on the Templars to support Void Troops but ultimately withdrew and ended hostilities, citing internal disagreements and strategic concerns. As of November 24, 2025, Justin had stepped down from leadership, marking the end of his command. The Teutons resurfaced to the army community on January 18, 2026, after nearly nine years of inactivity, led by a new leadership team that included Justin, Alucard, Scars, and Villa. Justin noted that the moment felt appropriate for the rebirth, noting that they now had more clarity, experience, and a solid foundation than previously. He claimed that this time, he planned to let the army’s actions speak louder than words, with the goal of turning expectations into reality and establishing a more meaningful presence in the CPPS community.
ALLEGIANCE WITH TEUTONS
The Teutons first opened in August 2014 and quickly became active in wars and tournaments, building a small but notable presence in the OGCP era. After their resurrection, they soon formed the “Knights of the Void Alliance,” an alliance with Void Troops that aims to strengthen both armies through cooperation, shared practices, and mutual support while preserving each army’s independence and identity. They swiftly established a presence, reaching a maximum of 21 at their opening event. The Teutons encountered several disputes in March 2026. With the help of Fire Vikings, Abyssal Tides, and Crimson Sovereign, the Phantom Republic initiated Operation: Dead Cross, which resulted in the War of the Phantom Purge.
War and Withdrawal
The Teutons found it difficult to engage and eventually gave up, giving PRCP a resounding victory. The Romans accused the Teuton leadership of harassing, doxxing, defacement, discriminating behavior, catfishing, and multilogging shortly after declaring the War of Teutonic Reckoning. The Romans won by default because the Teutons refused to fight. These conflicts demonstrated the Teutons’ organizational difficulties while highlighting their emphasis on stability and internal development. With numerous disputes and failures under Justin’s and other leaders leadership, the Teutons have not been very successful lately. Justin was given the title of Teutons Legend despite their troubles and lack of action during this time.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Justin for further information regarding his resignation, but he politely declined to comment.
In summary, Justin’s tenure in the CPPS armies demonstrates a combination of apparent successes and complexities; he assisted in the rebuilding of armies, guided them to small triumphs, and left a lasting impression on the community, but it also raises the question of how much a single leader can truly influence an army’s trajectory when setbacks and conflicts are constantly imminent. What do you think? Could Justin’s leadership style have been adapted to produce stronger long-term results, or were some setbacks inevitable?
