March Madness is a year-round tournament with a well-known history in the Army community. Throughout the event, armies face off in organised battles that test their tactics, coordination, and teamwork. The community has faced off again this year, with its quarterfinals happening just this week.

Shadow Legionnaries Vs Rebel Penguin Federation

SL vs RPF – Inside Mines

Last week, the Shadow Legionnaries clashed with the Rebel Penguin Federation in a hard-fought battle. Despite strong resistance, RPF secured victory due to a significant size advantage. With this win, RPF are set to face Water Vikings.

Aliens decide they are no longer competing in March Madness

Following the withdrawal of Aliens from the tournament, Water Vikings have automatically advanced to the semi-finals, where they are going to face the Rebel Penguin Federation.

Templars vs Help Force

TCP vs HF – Snow Forts

On Sunday, Templars battled Help Force in a tightly contested battle, with only a 1-2 troop difference between the two armies. TCP secured victory through effective movement and a well-executed mix of tactics. They advanced to the semi-finals, where they will face the Army of Club Penguin.

Dark Warriors vs Army Of Club Penguin

DW vs ACP – Snow Forts

Later that same Sunday, Dark Warriors went head-to-head with the Army of Club Penguin. ACP held a commanding size advantage, fielding 81 troops compared to DWs’ 36. With their size advantage and faster tactic execution, ACP secured a defensive victory. They will now proceed to the semi-finals, where they will face Templars.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to various members of the community to hear their opinions.

Salah, DW leader – SL vs RPF – I command SL for showing up and fighting throughout the battle but it was a dominant show for RPF based on overall size, speed and experience.

TCP vs HF – A very exciting battle due to how close sizes were for each army respectively. TCP managed to capitalize of having well structured forms in first two rooms, but it was nice seeing HF giving it their all in third room.

DW vs ACP – Perhaps slightly biased but a great attempt from DW against a well rounded opponent in ACP. It was a well deserved victory for ACP given their incredible size as well as coverage during the battle overall across all three rooms.

Yellow Typer, ACP Major General – SL vs RPF – May have been S/M vs Major but it was an interesting battle. SL’s been dominating in the S/M army community, along with the Romans of course. On the other hand, we’ve seen the Rebels winning in a whole lot of tournaments. I’ve at least seen them win ever since 2024 CC. Huge respect to both of the armies but at the end of the day, it was clear that the rebels were winning this one

TCP vs HF– This was a crazy battle as sizes kept rising! Both armies has insane battle experience from past wars and tournaments and I was shocked when TCP was able to beat HF. Truly crazy battle.

DW vs ACP – This was indeed a fun battle. On the day of the battle, I was expecting DW to pull at least 50+ since they had 100+ reacts and so hyped for the battle but they still had a large size for the battle. On the other hand, ACP brought hype to a whole new level. We knew that not to play around with the warriors as they are very dangerous and could get the upper hand on us. It was a fire battle at the end of the day and we’re ready to take on TCP at the Semi-Finals

Ellz, ACP Veteran – SL vs RPF – for RPF i knew RPF would win honestly

TCP vs HF – same with TCP tho i had my hopes for HF thooo

DW vs ACP – in ours… i had a feeling it would be slightly difficult cuz ive not seen a battle againt DW…so i was quite surprised yet also not?? cuz likee acp had alot of training and amazingly skilled troop…DW did put up a really good fight tho my respect to them for that for sure

Fun x Time, Star Force Leader – SL vs RPF – I expected the Rebel Penguin Federation to triumph over the Shadow Legionaries as RPF is a major army and has comparatively better numbers than SL, a small/medium army.

TCP vs HF – I wasn’t sure about whether the Templars would prevail in this battle or the Help Force, since I haven’t really ever looked into their battles. Moreover, I would feel that both armies are likely inviting their veterans to the battle, adding to the competition. However, I wasn’t surprised to see that the Templars had won the battle. Both, TCP and HF, put great effort in the battle and made it a battle worth watching!

DW vs ACP – Both the Army of Club Penguin and the Dark Warriors are major armies, and they have a good team to begin with. I wouldn’t be quite certain which army would win the battle. However, ACP has longevity and consistent practice, as well as a large veteran and staff team, which explains why they ended up winning the tournament battle. DW would be at a disadvantage when it comes to training, as they are a developing army. DW has also been receiving plenty of ambitious people from other armies, and I’m certain they’ll be working on it. Nevertheless, DW put a great show at the battle and it’s their stepping stone. Good effort from ACP as well.

From the community’s opinions, it seems many expected these results. As we move on to the semi-finals, who do you think will win? Are these the results you expected? What predictions do you have for the next round of the tournament?
