As of February 7, 2026, the Aliens and Scarlet Republic updated their alliance to that of a brother alliance. We explore the reasoning behind this decision.

Initial Meetings
The Aliens formed many alliances throughout their time in the army community since their creation. One major alliance that they joined was the National Armies Alliance during the Club Penguin Online era. The NAA was primarily a small- to medium-sized army alliance led by the Help Force while it remained on CPO. However, after HF left CPO, the NAA struggled due to a lack of leadership. As a result, Bestpenguin, the creator of the Aliens, folded many more armies into the alliance to create the International United Alliance. The alliance included the Tree Cult, Skaters, Athletes, Sky Troops, Royals, and Miners. This alliance, unfortunately, disbanded in May 2020 after the Aliens’ reclassification as a small-to-medium-sized army. The closure of the alliance coincided with the closure of CPO, and as a result, the first generation of the Aliens ended.
In 2024, the Aliens returned to the army community. They reformed the IUA later that year with the Secret Service, Squids, and Special Weapons and Tactics. The IUA fought one war to support SS when the Sapphire Concordat declared war. Despite the war’s loss, the IUA remained strong. However, due to internal issues within some of its armies, the alliance decided to disband.
The Aliens brought the alliance back in 2025, and this version remains the most recent. The Aliens invited the small to medium armies of the Scarlet Republic, Smart Penguins, and Penguins of Agartha. This alliance held strong but ultimately faded away later in the year. However, SR later reformed their alliance with the Aliens before the start of the Summer Blitz.
The Brother Alliance
SR, an army founded by Ghostt and Image in January 2025, unfortunately went on hiatus in October 2025, but came back with a new vengeance in December 2025. With a new leader, Riri, they broke off alliances with the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin and PoA, both of which were becoming inactive, to focus on newer alliances. The one alliance they noticeably did not dissolve was the one with the Aliens, as a sign of loyalty.
The friendship extended to the recent war that the Army of Club Penguin declared on SR. While the Water Vikings and some Rebel Penguin Federation troops came to ACP’s aid, the Aliens were the only major army to support SR. Despite both pulling out, neither army blamed the other, and the war brought them closer together. The love and support from each army led to the announcement of an upgrade to this alliance on both servers on February 7, 2026.

Was there a specific reason for the upgrade to a Brother Alliance?
Ghostt: The Aliens were one of few armies who have given us incredible support since Day 1. Even before we had many allies early on, but then after some time we were invited to the Aliens alliance known as IUA (International United Armies) and this is where both Aliens and SR’s teams started to support each other regularly. Honestly just felt like it was needed at this point.
Ams: We have been supporting each other during all last year, and the start of this year too it was totally making sense to bring this alliance to the brother level.
What do you hope to achieve with this new characterization of the alliance?
Ghostt: I am hoping we can see some growth and changes for the better of both armies. We have always supported each other on the battlefield and off of it so we are going to rise together and show our strengths as 2 of the most wholesome army communities.
Ams: Continue to support each other through all kind of situations, as we did in the past already.
Should the community expect to see more of the alliance in the upcoming months?
Ghostt: There will be a lot of activities going on between our two armies as usual going forward. If anything we will try to be more creative with our event ideas and find other fun ways to interact as armies of 2 very different sizes.
Ams: We are planning to host events together, obviously, i think we all wait to see what happens before making huge plans.

The Aliens and the Scarlet Republic are both highly committed to this alliance and aim to sustain it for the foreseeable future. It seems this alliance will not break down and will achieve great things despite the size differences. How long do you expect the brother alliance to last? What do you think this alliance will blossom into?
