The Void Troops have made a shocking announcement to the public, with their first generation coming to a sudden end. In this post, we’ll uncover the Void Troop’s history, the reason for their shutdown via their announcement, and an exclusive interview along the way to get more insight on the shutdown, as well as what the army plans for the next generation.

ARMY HISTORY
The Void Troops were founded by Logical and Justin, formerly known as Kyle104, in April 2025. In this past year alone, the army has faced challenges amongst themselves, with a defacement by Justin, then a breach in war terms in the war against the Penguins of Agartha. The Void Troops have also faced a disqualification from the Around the World Cup II tournament in June 2025.

However, unfortunately, the army would only face even more challenges. In October 2025, the army would succumb to the Small/Medium army category, and not even a month later, would face multiple leadership changes.
Only a few days after the leadership changes, Void Troop’s newest leadership will declare on Templars in November 2025. They will later face a declaration from the Templars, only two months later.

In recent times, the Void Troops have also allied with the Teutons, known as the ‘Knights of the Void Alliance‘, with the alliance announced more than two weeks ago.

THE SHUTDOWN
The announcement regarding the shutdown of the server was posted on February 5th, having been announced by Army founder Justin. While it is stated that the army was not shut down due to any outside conflicts, it is moreso due to the in-real-life responsibilities those who help out in Void Troops have, with a sense of relief as Justin does state to its community that the Void Troops will return when everyone is ready to do so.

With the announcement of the shutdown, the Void Troops plan on having their last battle of the first generation on February 7th, up against the Romans of Club Penguin.

Club Penguin Armies sat down with both Justin and Kira for more insight on the shutdown.
Sorry to hear about the shutdown of Void Troops. It is reassuring though to hear that you plan on coming back. Has it been discussed about any potential date that the Void Troops may be returning to the army community?
Justin: I can’t say too much but yes we already know pretty much when we will return.
Kira: vt plans to return on their 1 anniversary (april 27th), we will be planning and regrowing until then and we will be a stronger vt than before
What are you most looking forward to when the army returns?
Justin: I hope the army participates in plenty more tournaments and wars
Kira: although i wont be having direct involvement in the army when it reopens but when we do im excited to see vt get into some wars / and maybe even win some tournaments!! could be fun, vt has always been a war driven army at heart amd there are definitely some loose ends i think need to be cut off with some armies which im interested in seeing how that’ll transpire upon reopening
In the past year of the Void Troops being around, what was one of the most memorable moments for you?
Justin: I honestly don’t remember much since that was over a year ago and I suffer with short term memory loss but I think my favorite moments was building the community when we first opened up.
Kira: really loved the team we had during the summer, probably the most fun ive ever had in armies if im being honest. think the first tcp war and the olympics were 2 big highlights for me as well
If you could change anything from any choices of your past within the army, what would you change?
Justin: I regret defacing the server and falling for templars crybaby greedy activities but things happen we move on.
Kira: i think maybe not have been so reliant on big events for hype, i think at its core vt being a more laid back army is what helped build it initially and i think had we continued with that branding it wouldve been nice to see. there are some recent things that im sure although the community is aware about that i wont touch on but i do wish there were different outcomes to what occurred during that time (and i wish some people took it seriously instead of memeing it)
As a last question, do you have any last words to say to the community before signing off your first generation?
Justin: Fear the f****** unknown!
Kira: fear the void 🩷 (and remember at the end of the day its just discord)
At the end of the day, it is clear that the Void Troops will plan to return for their second generation sometime this year. With the first generation coming to such a sudden end, it will be interesting to the rest of the community on what the Void Troops will bring when their newest revival comes.
