A month after the army’s revival, the Aliens regained major status in June 2024 and have since remained a consistent presence in the Top Ten rankings. The return was not short-lived, as the army continued to grow in strength and stability, steadily rebuilding the reputation it once held in the community. Despite their original shutdown, the Aliens have shown resilience, determination, and a clear commitment to carrying their legacy forward, continuing to fight and evolve rather than fade away.

Over the past year, the Aliens have established themselves as a dominant force within the community. Throughout 2025, the Aliens proved to be a strong contender throughout tournaments, with the strongest showing coming during the Around The World Cup II tournament, resulting in their victory. Beyond tournaments, the army’s strategic ability has been on full display, most notably in their aid in a conflict against the Army of Club Penguin in a recent war, further solidifying their status as a powerful and respected army.

BACKGROUND: DARK WARRIORS

Ambrosha founded the Dark Warriors in September 2007, later merging the army with the Ice Warriors that same year. During their time on the original Club Penguin, the Dark Warriors reached world power status multiple times and built a reputation as one of the strongest armies in the community. This era produced several well-known leaders, including Bean, SaW, Spi101, and Freezie66, who helped shape the army’s identity and success.

With the launch of Club Penguin Online, Spi101 and Freezie66 revived the Dark Warriors in what became one of the most successful comebacks of the era. The army quickly regained its strength, maxing out over 70 penguins within its first week. Under the leadership of modern-era figures such as Noa and Bee, the Dark Warriors continued to grow. Reaching over 100 attendees and securing the number one position in the first unified Top Ten of the CPPS era. However, following the shutdown of Club Penguin Online in the summer of 2020, the army began to decline and eventually closed later that year.

CONTINUED GROWTH

On May 23, 2025, Ambrosha granted permission for another revival, this time led by Holo2, Subzero, and Coolguy. Through consistent effort and leadership changes, Justin, Midnight, and Salah later joined the leadership team. This revival quickly proved successful, as the Dark Warriors won the Summer Blitz Tournament of 2025. During this period, the Void Troops declared war on the Dark Warriors, but DW did not show, resulting in an automatic surrender. Shortly after, the Dark Warriors assisted the Void Troops alongside the Romans in the Second Divine Reckoning War. Which helped secure a full victory over the Templars. Building on this momentum, the army advanced to the finals of the Small/Medium bracket in the Christmas Chaos Grand Finals, where they ultimately lost in a three-way battle against TCP and the Romans.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Coolguy, a Dark Warrior leader, and Ams, an Aliens leader, for more information on the alliance.

What was your motivation behind allying with the Aliens?

Coolguy: Aliens has always been an army I personally respect because of the way the leadership has performed and built the army up from scratch, even though it was a revival. They have proven themselves to have great skills, and the community they have made is a respectable one – the key word being community (outside of respectable) and not army because that’s what they have built up a community, a family – something solid. They think outside the box and run very differently to other armies within the community and it’s great to see. So with this underlying respect for them and their grind, the motivation to ally just came naturally. We do havea similar story too in terms of reviving an army, building it with little and seeing successes along the way.

Ams: The discussions started a bit after October Horrors. We took our time to decide on the alliance, to be sure our communities would go well together. We do believe that both our communities can bring to each other the very best. They are a lovely community, and we hope we can help them rise even more!

How do you think the alliance will affect your army?

Coolguy: Honestly, I think the alliance has already impacted the army. Our joint event held over the past weekend was creative and innovative; it was something that DW has never done before or thought of, and it brings forward new and creative ideas, not just for solo events but for more joint ones too. It allowed everyone to just be present in a community without focusing hard on the army side – allowing pressures to ease and giving people a break. I feel like we can do great things together and a bond has immediately been built and now it’s gonna be hard to break that.

Ams: We think that this alliance can have great impact on both armies, as we already enjoy a lot spending time with each others. We can all expect more fun events like our alliance one, to bring Viva La GalacticaDark Warriors and Aliens together.

Do you feel that with both of you united, it will impact the community in the near future?

Coolguy: Who knows what the future will hold for both of us? One thing is certain though – the Dark Galactic Alliance is here to stay.

Ams: We do hope that this alliance made from love and respect can impact the community, the sooner the better. Each of Aliens’ alliance is made out of respect, and we hope this will continue in the future.
