Rebel Penguin Federation Claims the Champions of 2013 Tournament Title
Background
Throughout 2013, both Rebel Penguin Federation and Army of Club Penguin participated in many notable conflicts. For instance, RPF’s contentious war against the Nachos was one of the year’s most noteworthy wars. While there was no official winner, the event demonstrated the strengths of each army. At the same time, the Black Alliance‘s antagonistic relationship with ACP carried over to the new year. During the next month, ACP competed as part of the White Alliance before the BA’s surrender and dissolution. Afterwards, the latter made a reappearance in a war against Dark Warriors before its disbandment.

Next, the Clover Defenders fought Army Republic following a falling out between the former allies. After many battles, the dispute concluded with a ceasefire over a week later. Following these wars, the two armies joined forces in the New Dawn Alliance versus the Bloodline Alliance war. Additionally, RPF and ACP were joined in NDA by Doritos of Club Penguin. On the other side, Light Troops and Nachos were the main members of the BLA. In the meantime, RPF won the Legends Cup and Christmas Chaos trophies while ACP obtained the Champions Cup crown. Given their wins, Club Penguin Army Central invited the two to the Champions of 2013 tournament to compete in the first tournament of 2014. With this tournament, the top tournament army of 2013 was determined.

Grand Finals
Following their semi-finals victories, ACP and RPF faced off for their first tournament title of the year. During the previous year, RPF claimed more tournament titles than ACP. However, both armies were very close in the Top Ten with ACP slightly ahead in the Top Ten of the year. Essentially, the battle was guaranteed to be competitive depending on what army had the better day. Ultimately, RPF came out on top and obtained the title of the best tournament army of 2013. Finally, RPF also claimed the first tournament trophy of 2014.

Conclusion

Additionally, RPF continued their strong performances in tournaments with another win. Moreover, ACP showed they could still be competitive in tournaments even if other armies had surpassed them the previous year in size. Lastly, the two armies’ role in major conflicts made them very influential in the community’s affairs. In short, the Champions of 2013 tournament helped kick off an interesting year of tournaments.
