Teutons Return to the Community

On January 18, an old army called the Teutons returned to the army community after nearly 9 years of absence. This time, they seem to have something special in store. What really is in it for them?

The Teutons of Club Penguin first opened in the first week of August 2014. They were an S/M army founded by Brigade3 and Earthing. On January 18, after a long absence, the Teutons made their return to the army community. Moreover, at their opening event, they reached a max of 21, ushering in the first generation. In addition, the army’s leadership is fresh, comprising of Justin, Alucard, Scars, and Villa.

In December 2025, Justin released an article on the Teutons website, citing a potential revival.

Them Nine Years Ago

The first generation began in 2014. In less than a week into their opening, the Teutons suffered a defacement from EpicoLizard. However, the Teutons tried to show resistance by maxing 7 at their next event. The Teutons fought their first war against the Toast Army of Club Penguin, declaring war on them on September 8. The Toast Army did not show up for the majority of the war, causing the Teutons to emerge victorious. Their continued activity and strength led to them placing sixth on one of Club Penguin Army Central‘s weekly Top Tens in the same month.

Moreover, the Teutons were selected to participate in CPAC’s Champions Cup III in September, although they lost their first battle to the Nachos of Club Penguin. The Teutons also declared hostilities against the Chaos Army and the Vikings, though these declarations were ignored by them.

Furthermore, in early October, the Teutons allied with the Golds, joining their war against the New Penguin Republic and the Nachos. The outcome of the war was unclear, as both armies claimed to have won the invasions. Finally, CPAC later analysed the war and declared the Teutons as the triumphs, with a war score of 9-1-1 [W-L-T].

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Teutons leaders, Justin and Scars, for an exclusive interview regarding the revival of Teutons.

What was your motivation behind reopening Teutons?

Justin: The timing just finally felt right to return with clarity, experience, and a stronger foundation than before. We was supposed to open our doors to the CPPS army community back in 2022 but things didn’t go well at the time.

Scars: Teutons was meant to be revived a few years back by Justin but it never came to fruition, we’re deciding to run it back this time and continue to build it’s legacy.

What are your expectations for your army’s future?

Justin: Well this time i will just let our actions speak louder than words, our expectations will turn into reality

Scars: I think there will be lots of conflict throughout this generation. In our revival we were already raided by Templars. I also see Teutons being a regular competitor in the s/m scene.

Are there any goals you have for the Teutons?

Justin: To be more than just a club penguin army community.

Scars: I just want to make Teutons a fun community for people and be consistent with things.

Do you have any alliances? If not, would you be willing to ally with any armies in the future?

Justin: We don’t have any alliances right now but we are in talks with a few armies.

Scars: Currently we don’t have any alliances, but we do have some in the works.

Are there any unique things that you’d like to try with Teutons?

Justin: Yes, like i said before actions will speak louder than words for such things.

Scars: Not that I’ve thought of yet.

With the Teutons being reopened, the leaders appear to be motivated to continue the aging army’s legacy and establish new memories. Moreover, the two leaders seem confident and diplomatically open with their newest creation. Will this Teutons return sustain? How long will they remain relevant in the army community?
