Ah, here we are. In the coziest season of the year: Autumn. In spite of the comfort it brings, armies have engaged in many activities and controversies from September to November. In this post, we shall recap what happened in CPA during Autumn.

RETIREMENTS/LEADER INDUCTIONS
Scars Villa And Sweater Return To PIC Leadership
In the first week of Autumn in CPA, People’s Imperial Confederation legend Scars announced his return to leadership. In addition to Scars, Villa, and Sweater also returned to lead the army. With all three of them having led the army in the past, a promising new era had been awaited by the Confederation.
Annie Retires From SR Leadership
Annie quietly stepped down from the Scarlet Republic leadership after a period of inactivity due to real-life commitments. Former co-leader Ghostt formally announced her retirement, awarding her with the title of SR Legend.
Lemon Inducted As SL Leader
Lemon was initially recruited into the Shadow Legionnaires in May 2025. He steadily advanced through the ranks, eventually reaching the rank of Second-In-Command. On September 4, SL founder Thunder222 announced Lemon’s promotion to Legion Commander.
Viking Shifts In Leadership
On September 7, 2025, Cobra retired as leader of the Water Vikings, closing an era for the army. His decision, first considered after the Legends Cup XV, came from a wish to let his co-leaders and his HCOM team take charge. Cobra’s leadership marked a golden age for the Vikings, bringing record size and one of their strongest Legends Cup runs. Additionally, on the same date, Mato was officially promoted to the title of Viking Commander during the Army’s Hall of Fame Ceremony, cementing a new era for WV.
Romans Usher in New Era with Trio of Leaders
On Tuesday, September 23, Yellow Typer announced that he, alongside Sumdog and Znation, would be moving up to the rank of leader in Romans. In the same announcement, he also declared that Lawless would be retiring, thanking her for her hard work and dedication.
Apryl Inducted As New Void Troops Leader, Ugly Retires
The Void Troops had seen one of its most prominent leaders, Ugly, retire from leadership. As a highly seasoned veteran of the army community, his experience was surely a great influence in the army’s uprising. In his announcement, he stated it was time for new generations of VT to take the spotlight. At a perfect time to seize such an opportunity, Apryl stepped in to lead the Void Troops towards a new future.

Water Vikings Declare War on TCP, Ending in Viking Triumph
On September 2, the Void Troops declared war on the Dark Warriors, titled the Great Massacre War. VT scheduled two invasions for September 4: the Invasion of Justin’s Toilet and the Invasion of Coolguy’s TV. Later on, another invasion was scheduled for September 5, which was the Invasion of Justin’s Ego. However, the Warriors no-showed in all battles.
Romans Launch War Campaign Against SWAT
On September 7, Romans launched their war campaign against SWAT. The Romans’ declaration specifies this is an off-map, one-on-one war between the Romans and SWAT, with no allies or visitors permitted. Later in the month, the Romans claimed victory.
The White Order Alliance Declares War Against RPF
The community was rocked by one of the most severe events in recent history. In a move that served to kickstart a momentous war, seven armies convened to join The White Order. This alliance includes the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin, People’s Imperial Confederation, Penguins of Agartha, Romans, Scarlet Republic, Shadow Legionaries, and Void Troops. Their enemy? The Rebel Penguin Federation, considered one of the most notable armies in the context of the community’s history. Unlike most conflicts arising from territorial disputes, the cause was clear for this war, and it was serious: a controversial scandal involving RPF’s staff and leadership.
Among the battles, there were also many political issues unfolding in the community as a result of the war and scandals. Alliances between armies had weakened, admins would release executive statements, and the community would undergo many other internal changes. In the end, however, TWO no-showed in most battles. RPF would win the whole war 9-0, and TWO disbanded. Things did not go as planned for the Order, but for them, this was more than a war. The TWO armies banded together to make a statement against RPF.
Incoming Call: Wii Phone Is On The Line
On September 18th, the wii phone army opened its doors for the first time to the public. The rmy was created by Lort533, with the intention of opening up in June. However, the army only saw its inauguration soon after Legends Cup XV had been finished. The opening event was held later that day.

WATER TROOPS REVIVE AND DECLARE WAR ON SWAT
The Water Troops held their revival event on September 30, registering with Club Penguin Armies the following day. However, the newly revived army has already made a splash in the army scene. Only hours after reopening, WT declared war upon SWAT, with little to no reasoning. After surrendering to SWAT, even though they won the war battles, WT announced their closure on October 8.
THE PEOPLE’S IMPERIAL CONFEDERATION DECLARES ON WATER VIKINGS
On September 29, the People’s Imperial Confederationissued a war declaration against the Water Vikings. In an announcement, PIC cited “villa said on god i wouldnt declare while we were in vc and then WV STAFF VALENTINA SAID “on my LIFE you wont”.” Such a serious comment highlights the very heated nature of the war. On the other side, the Water Vikings responded promptly, ready to defend their honor (from Scars’ intrusive thoughts). A total of 3 battles took place over the course of the last week. Ultimately, the war score favored the Vikings: 3-0-0 [W-T-L].
Rye Bread Removed From Water Vikings Leadership
The Water Vikings‘ High Council of Vikings representative, Pjayo, issued a shocking announcement to the army and the wider community. In it, he announced that the now-former Viking Commander, Rye Bread, had been removed from the leadership position. In the announcement, Pjayo mentions: “While there had been prior issues, safety is of the utmost concern, and we have a zero tolerance policy regarding this. Rye will also be banned from WV indefinitely.”
VOID TROOPS FALL TO SMALL/MEDIUM
The once major player fell to Small/Medium classification on Sunday, October 5, failing to host events for a week. Regardless, they were seemingly eager to return with full force, as they had just announced a comeback event. In the announcement, Dbsa mentioned VT would be more dominant than ever on the battlefield, hyping the army in hopes of returning to its former glory.
MAPPING THE MAP SUMMIT CONCLUDES
After more than a month of deliberations, the Mapping the Map summit had officially concluded. In this historic gathering, Club Penguin Armies invited the community and army leaders to discuss changes to the server map rules and structure. Thanks to the participation of the Army Board, leadership, and community members, all map rules were revoted and a deep cut in bureaucracy was made.

An old army, dating back to 2011, called the Thunder Troops made their return, hosting their opening event on October 7. They successfully hosted it with a max of 8, proceeding to register with Club Penguin Armies. Being led by familiar faces to the army scene, such as Turtel, AB, xdemon, and Tiny Guy, the army was in good hands. Additionally, a brand new army was also introduced to the community: the Witches of CP. This small army was led by Kidboy and Katsura, opening on October 13 after maxing 5 in their opening event.

Continuing with the cycle of new tournaments, October Horrors served as 2025’s Halloween tournament. This tournament was a one-day event with both qualifiers and finals occurring on the same day across different time zones. PIC and DW brawled in the S/M final battle, and in a tight confrontation, the Dark Warriors took home their second tournament win of the year. Similarly, the October Horrors major division was a spectacle to behold. In the Grand Finals, the Water Vikings, Aliens, and the Army of Club Penguin all faced off in an epic three-way battle. The Aliens’ superior tactical skill and formations, combined with them peaking at sizes of over 50 in the last room, led to a 3-0-0 win for the Aliens.
The Super Cup marked the end of the first October Horrors tournament and was a complete success. It was meant to be a special extra battle between the Major and S/M winners of the tournament. Despite putting up a good fight, the Dark Warriors were unable to overcome their much larger opponent. With a large size difference and much superior tactics and formations, the Aliens easily swept their opponent, resulting in another victory.

On October 13, the community welcomed back the Phantom Republic following almost a year of inactivity. This followed a mass exodus of the Thunder Troops and several war declarations. The next day of their opening event, PRCP declared war on the newly founded Witches of Club Penguin. Following the Witches’ immediate surrender, the People’s Imperial Confederation would go on to declare war on the Phantom Republic.

Echo Steps Down From TCP Leadership, Borapenguins and Zez Ascend
On October 12, following the promotions of Borapenguins and Zez, former Emperor Echo announced his retirement from the army, stating that he would remain as an advisor. In his retirement announcement, he shared a document reflecting on his experiences within the community, highlighting the lasting impact the Templars have had on him and signaling new beginnings for the army. Echo had been a leading force within TCP ever since 2024, when he returned for a second term.
With the promotion of the duo, it was clear that they had success in their sights, hoping to live up to the success of creator Xing and other notable figures, including Echo.
Logical Retires From Void Troops, Zekrome Steps In
On October 7, Logicalannounced his resignation from the Void Troops, promising the induction of a new leader immediately after. Later, on Sunday, October 12, the retirement event took place, ending Logical’s leadership tenure in VT. After the 14-minute event concluded, Logical announced Zekrome64‘s induction to leadership, being the seventh to achieve this feat in VT.

Moon Departs TCP Leadership
On October 25, Moon announced that she would once more be retiring from the army. In an announcement made in the Templars’ Discord, she released a post detailing fond memories of her time and providing her swan song to armies.

RETIREMENTS/LEADER INDUCTIONS
Chaos in the Senate: Yellow Typer Removed, Lawless Returns To Romans
On October 28, Yellow Typer would be stripped of his leadership role in Romans, following a statement from Roman Consul, Smurf. Smurf cited a continuous lack of communication with his fellow leaders as the primary reason for his removal, making event scheduling and day-to-day operations difficult. Yellow was demoted to a high-command position before leaving the server upon the discovery of his demotion from leader. After these events, Lawless would return to lead the Romans in her second tenure.
Lydia Promoted to Water Vikings Commander
On November 8, Lydia received her promotion to Viking Commander. Despite no official announcement being made, her promotion was met with applause and a warm welcome to help strengthen the WV team. Lydia’s induction came as no surprise, as she has been a key player for the Vikings over the past ten months. Her loyalty and dedication have been integral to the army’s success, as evidenced by their victory in the Candy Crusher Brawl tournament. Additionally, Lydia has been instrumental to WV’s success in numerous wars.
Alucard and Armenzia Join PIC’s Leadership
On October 27, Armenzia was inaugurated as the 51st leader of the People’s Imperial Confederation, an army already being led by Scars and Villa. In addition, this development comes shortly after the army participated in the October Horrors tournament, where they faced various armies in the S/M Division battles. Fast forward to November 8, PIC leader Scars released some unfortunate news that the army would be going into lockdown. Following shortly after this revelation, Alu stated that he would be returning for his third stint as a leader of the Confederation, following his unbanning from Club Penguin Army Battleground.
Justin Suddenly Leaves Dark Warriors Leadership
On November 24, well-known community member and Dark Warriors leader, Justin, retired from his position, whilst simultaneously leaving the community. Following his departure, DW’s leadership would release a statement discussing their recent conflict with the Templars. In this post, the leaders would confirm that many troops and staff were displeased with said war, leading to an official treaty between the two parties. In addition to this information, the leadership confirmed that Justin had not been couped and had instead left on his own accord.

On November 9, the community saw something that isn’t shocking to most. Raven had created the Kanye West Army of Club Penguin. With an opening event that saw a max of 1, the army got to work, hosting six events within the span of a day.

On November 8, the Army of Club Penguin and Water Vikingsannounced that they would be co-hosting the Ragnarök Olympics. The Army of Club Penguin won the Summer Olympics hosted by Club Penguin Armies; however, the Water Vikings were rapidly catching up in points near the end. In the Ragnarök Olympics, the two faced off against each other yet again in a series of events and competitions.
Chaos Emerges in the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin
On November 16, the Shadow Legionaries released an announcement terminating their alliance with the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin. They claimed that the reason behind this was the EGCP leadership’s actions against their own staff members. Before SL’s announcement, the general army community was not aware that something like this was going on in EGCP. On November 17, in order to address the accusations, EGCP’s leadership released a post debunking the allegations.
As it was expected, EGCP released the second post 2 days later, on November 19. It is written by the EGCP consuls Cookky2 and SavageCobra, sharing the army’s official position on the matter. The posts end with the authors asking the reader to make their own conclusions based on everything presented. They ask for the truth to prevail and for the 2 staff members to stop. They state that they are disappointed in them, due to the way they reacted, and ask them to self-reflect. Lastly, they highlight their full support for the current army leadership.
hog riders charge into the community
On November 16, the Hog Riders of Club Penguin appeared for the first time. At 9:47 am EST, the army leader Escot announced the army’s first event in the #opening-events channel in Club Penguin Armies. It was planned to happen on the same day at 2 pm EST. The army grew quickly within those few hours. Along with Escot, it is led by Yoni773, Stevos, Skydorino, Cl3udyx, Spin and Pingo. It is a strong lineup containing several notable members. The army reached 10 troops in a successful opening event.
SECOND RECKONING WAR: VT VS. TCP
On November 15, the Second Divine Reckoning War began, launching another conflict between the Void Troops and the Templars. Since their last conflict, both sides have changed significantly, resulting in a very different outcome so far. Since the beginning of the war, several other armies have gotten involved, such as the People’s Imperial Confederation, the Dark Warriors, and the Romans. After 18 hard-fought battles, the war eventually ended after the capital of the Templars, Jerusalem, was seized by the Void Troops on November 26, who claimed 13 victories in this conflict.
