The brand new October Horrors tournament will start soon. Various armies of the CPA community will participate and try to win the esteemed trophy. Today, we will find out how some armies are preparing for this tournament.

The October Horrors tournament is a brand-new tournament in the community, announced one week ago. This tournament represents the annual Halloween tournament in the Club Penguin Armies, which brings hype and excitement every year. Last Halloween, CPA hosted Blood Bowl, a map-based tournament.
October Horrors is split into Major and Small/Medium armies. S/M Qualifiers will take place on October 24th, Major Battles on October 25th, S/M Battles on October 26th, and the Super Cup Battle on October 27th. Thirteen armies will participate in the tournament, four Major armies and nine S/M armies. The community is hyped for the big tournament that will occur this week, but curious about who will be the winner, too!

Curious about how the armies are preparing for this tournament, Club Penguin Armies reached out to some army leaders for an exclusive interview.
How is your army preparing for October Horrors?
Daniel, Army of Club Penguin: We are doing multiple trainings, holding recruiting competitions, and doing a practice battle so we get into it at the top of our level! Not forgetting about putting the Halloween vibes on either
Scars, People’s Imperial Confederation: We plan on doing lots of training in preparation, for both those who will be leading and for troops participating. We plan to be in top shape for the tournament in hopes to sweep the competition.
Zez, Templars: We are doing some trainings and such, we even have our own uniform for this tournament.
BP, Aliens: Aliens are having lots of training for the tournament!
Escot, Water Vikings: Our army is preparing strategically and we’re trying things internally. Recruiting as well ofc, and a lot more. WV aren’t done yet. We’re still practicing stuff in trainings to better prepare ourselves for Saturday.
Do you feel your army has an advantage over other armies in preparing for this tournament?
Daniel, Army of Club Penguin: Not really! I think everyone is preparing in the same way as we are – so it is about the spirit that you put going into the battle. The battles won’t be easy at all
Scars, People’s Imperial Confederation: In a way, definitely. I think that our mindset is what will allow us to standout from the others. The entire PIC team has been extremely dedicated and motivated, and we are ready to give this tournament our all.
Zez, Templars: Yes
BP, Aliens: I think all major armies are pretty equal and doing amazing, so it will be interesting to see all the battles. Considering aliens we do stand a chance against all the major armies of this tournament.
Escot, Water Vikings: I believe so, it’ll prob be beneficial for us to assist in bringing home a win
Do you think your army will win October Horrors?
Daniel, Army of Club Penguin: We’ll see on Saturday 😉
Scars, People’s Imperial Confederation: It’s too soon to say, but I’d 100% say that we’re a tough competitor with a good chance. Myself along with my team believe that if we keep putting in the work, we should be able to win.
Zez, Templars: We do have high hopes, however if we aren’t able to secure the win that is okay, we only continue growing day by day.
BP, Aliens: yes i believe in my lovely aliens family that we can win this tournament and bring the trophy home!
Escot, Water Vikings: We have a big chance so I would say so, it’ll definitely be close but don’t count out WV just yet
The leaders of these armies show that they are prepared for it and have a good mentality. On top of that, losing doesn’t demoralize them; instead, it makes them even stronger and more ambitious for a win in the future. A tournament may be hard and overwhelming for the armies. However, with enough effort and consistency, they can achieve great heights.
