Watex Warriors Declare War on Army of Club Penguin – September 28, 2013
Early History of WW
Firstly, Oagalthorp founded the Army of Club Penguin a year after Club Penguin opened. Simultaneously, Watex established his own army following his success as a Club Penguin blogger, as two of the oldest armies, WW and the ACP, had a long, complicated history with one another. During WW’s early days, the two armies participated in the same large-scale community war and a practice battle. In the community event, WW competed against Rebel Penguin Federation, Nachos, and the Underground Mafia Army. At the same time, WW got its name and developed its first uniform. Throughout the years, similar changes were made to the army, like the creation of a website in 2008. Thanks to the new website, WW became a more organized group than it had been previously. In the meantime, WW had its first genuine conflicts with Black Bandits and Fort Ghost Recon. After a series of other conflicts, WW merged into Nachos at the start of 2012. By late 2013, the army had returned, as Lucario564 took over.

Important Events in ACP History
Comparatively, ACP took part in some of the earliest major wars. These included World War II, World War III, and World War IV. Thanks to the first two wars, ACP became a powerhouse that outmatched most other armies. In the latter, ACP’s loss almost led to the shutdown of the army as the army site was nearly deleted. However, ACP still influenced much of early army history through its status as a world power. Their significant role contributed to the outbreak of the Black Alliance wars in late 2012. Consequently, ACP declined in size but remained a prominent force in the community. For instance, Flipmoo‘s new Australian/Asian division changed how armies fought wars for years to come. Likewise, ACP fought several wars against Dark Warriors, Special Weapons and Tactics, Nachos, and Army Republic throughout early 2013. By September 2013, the Clover Defenders had started their second war against DW. After the war ended, LT declared war on ACP as a continuation of their long-standing rivalry. Ultimately, ACP spent much of the year as a participant in major wars.

Black Alliance Wars
Declaration of War
While ACP fought LT, WW’s leaders grew tired of the behavior of ACP’s leader, Cassius Brutus. Subsequently, WW declared war on ACP on September 28 to prove that Cas was not a good leader. A week before, Cas ousted Tori from her leadership position. Therefore, he made himself the sole leader of the army and put a bigger spotlight on his behavior. Thanks to these factors, WW broke off its long alliance with ACP. As the war began, WW was quickly outmatched as ACP’s AUSIA division proved too strong. Soon after, WW surrendered their servers to ACP, officially ending the war. Finally, the ACP-LT war continued until October, when it became an alliance war. Essentially, LT’s war with ACP lasted longer than the WW-ACP conflict.

Conclusion
Throughout their histories, both WW and ACP stood out as armies frequently engaged in war. Moreover, their relationship reflects how easily alliances fell apart. Equally important, it shows how alliances can disintegrate due to leadership changes. Finally, armies often had to balance two wars because of concurrent war declarations. Overall, WW and ACP’s short war displays what the army scene was like in late 2013.
