INTRODUCTION

The Void Troops and Dark Warriors have both been opened/revived this year. The Void Troops hosted their opening event on April 27. Throughout their short history, VT has warred numerous armies, such as the Help Force, the Templars, Penguins of Agartha and more. Apart from the HF one, which is ongoing, they emerged victorious in the rest. Despite facing many challenges, such as their defacement, they managed to obtain their Major status.

On the other hand, the Dark Warriors revived on July 5. Having a rich history, they brought a huge max of 41. Their force was evident at the Summer Blitz I, Club Penguin Armies‘ newest SM map tournament, where they triumphed, having the most land.

RISING TENSIONS

On August 14, VT declared the Warriors as an enemy army, with initially no context. Shortly afterwards, VT released a follow-up announcement, citing several reasons for the declaration. The announcement included accusing DW of things like troopstealing, targeting VT members, imprisoning majority of VT in DW, and even accusing their leader of being responsible for VT’s defacing. However, the announcement didn’t provide much proof to back up VT’s claims.

DECLARATION OF WAR

On September 2, the Void Troops declared war on the Dark Warriors, titled the Great Massacre War. VT scheduled two invasions for September 4, being the Invasion of Justin’s Toilet and the Invasion of Coolguy’s TV. Later on, another invasion was scheduled for September 5, which was the Invasion of Justin’s Ego. However, the Warriors no-showed in all battles. According to the war terms, this results in a surrender.

VT declaring war on DW

To find out more about the declaration, Club Penguin Armies reached out to VT leader Ugly and DW leader Justin for an exclusive interview.

First question, how would you describe the relationship between VT and DW before the declaration?

Justin: Honestly, there wasn’t much of a relationship. There was nerver going to be a DW x VT alliance. Void Troops has been trying to push themselves as the good guys for some time now and really thought blaming me for their errors and odd leadership would do any good. In DW we have been focused on our own growth, our wins, and rebuilding our legacy. If anything, the tension started when VT couldn’t handle the fact that DW let me in their leadership.

Ugly: Was okay we had frequent neat talks here and there in the relations gc before Justin showed up lol

What was the cause behind declaring war on the Dark Warriors?

Ugly: Justin said VT are too scared to war off map so we simply put him against his own words and he decides to not show up idk why he kept backpedaling lol

Why did the Void Troops declare war on DW despite already being at war with HF?

Ugly: HF war was merely for fun and figured we could fit both in between, obviously we knew DW not showing up

Did you expect the Void Troops to declare war on the Dark Warriors after being declared as their enemies?

Justin: Yes. VT has been looking for a reason to throw hands ever since I left them. It wasn’t a surprise more like the inevitable. They needed something to rally their troops up, and using Dark Warriors as the “enemy” was their excuse.

Is there a reason why Dark Warriors has no-showed all battles?

Justin: We don’t fight battles on anyone elses terms but our own. We are not here to dance for Void Troops Pleasure. We pick our moments we make our moves strategically and when we do show up we show up with force. People forgot but they will remember why we are considered one of the best armies of all time when the time is right.

Do you have anything else you would like to add?

Justin: We’ve grown faster than most armies in the community before and we will do it again, We have already won a tournament just two months after our revival. We are growing and will only continue to grow and the Void Troops war declaration doesn’t change that. If anything, it just proves we’re the army they feel the most threatened by. Their smartest move by far was unallying with the Templars.

Ugly: 3rd time’s the charm Justin

The war between the Void Troops and the Dark Warriors was a short conflict where the latter decided to no-show. However, it seems that the tension between the armies is not yet over. Is the relationship between the armies still tense? What can we expect from both armies in the near future?
