Over the last two weeks, the Aliens and Clovers have engaged in several battles against each other. Today, the war has finally come to a close with the Aliens winning the last battle and seizing Mammoth.

On August 11, the Army of Club Penguin declared war on the Aliens, citing various reasons, such as disrespect, troopstealing, and “identity theft”. The Aliens responded with a post of their own, denying all the false allegations. Not long after, the Clovers replied with yet another post that only served to increase war tensions between the two armies.
The battles began the next day, on August 12, with ACP invading Northern & Southern Lights. Over the course of the next several days, the Aliens came out of nearly every battle successful, the exception being a singular clash which resulted in a tie.

Aliens vs ACP during the Northern Lights Invasion
The Capital Invasion
On August 20, the Aliens were prepared for their final battle – the invasion of ACP’s capital, Mammoth. However, the odds were not in their favor. Not long after the battle, Deputy Head Judge T_T announced the invasion would be postponed to a later date due to several troops from both armies facing connectivity issues on Club Penguin Army Battleground.
Today, both armies logged on to Mammoth for a second time, each prepared to take on the other. The results were finally posted following the intense and close clash, declaring the Aliens the winners of the battle and the war with a nearly perfect score of 16-0-1 [W-L-T]. This is also notably the first time in CPPS history that ACP has lost Mammoth.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Aliens leader Sheriff, and ACP leader Daniel20448, for exclusive interviews regarding the outcome of the war.
How do you feel about the outcome of this war?
Sheriff: I’m not surprised at the results, but I know both armies gave it their all.
Daniel20448: I definitely didnt expect it to be such a bad loss, but in its own ways it was certainly interesting to say the least. Aliens were very creative in each battle and it brought out quite literally the 110% of each one of us, meaning it only made us realize how much we really have to improve, in many areas. I don’t regret the war at all as it’s definitely a stepping stone for us, though probably not in the way we wanted it to be shown. I’m proud of my staff and troops, that despite the incredibly heartbreaking result they have decided to stick with us for the long run, and are using this as also a motivator to only get better. I definitely think we did better than what the results on paper show, but Aliens just were that step ahead – props to them!
What are your plans for your army following this war?
Sheriff: Rest, Treaty, and prepare some new events like the Parade and 🦑
Daniel20448: Well, we have our 19th anniversary coming up, which is for sure something to celebrate and have fun! We’re definitely not empty handed in that area, but I’ll discuss more of the following plans in a post for my army as I want them to be the first to be aware of what’s going to happen. We won’t let this war loss bring us down – we’ll use it as a motivator to bring us higher than ever before
Looking back, is there anything you would change coming into this conflict?
Sheriff: It went quite well, to be honest. There’s nothing more we could do.
Daniel20448: Maybe just preparation wise i wish we did a little bit more of everything. we knew Aliens were an incredibly big challenge, though i didnt expect it to end the way it did at all. But just because Aliens were a big challenge we were not gonna back down from it to defend the identity of who we are. most people nowadays wouldnt even dare to declare on an army who just maxed twice the size one did in a tournament wagering what we did, and i think we gave them a good fight. In any case we learn and we keep moving!
Is there anything you would like to say to your troops and/or the general community?
Sheriff: GGs all round, we love. We’ve proved Aliens aren’t weak, and I hope both armies continue to flourish <33
Daniel20448: A war loss is not the end for ACP, and it never will be. ACP will be back on the top stage soon. Thank you to those who were also supportive of us until the end, and I hope the spectators of the war enjoyed the battles. In regards to my troops they’ll hear from me soon haha, but I love them all 😤🙏
The past couple of days have certainly showcased two of the top armies’ competitive spirit and highlighted their tactical prowess. In the end, Aliens may have come out triumphant, but who knows what the future has in store for these two armies. What do you think? What were your thoughts on the war?
